I have been testing and working with an inexpensive recurve bow build by Mandarin Duck called the Phantom. So far, I'm surprised by the quality for the price. Mine is a lighter 35lb bow so I can really work on my form and built the strength to shoot my heavier 50lb bows.

Stop dropping you release hand after releasing. Follow through.
