It depends on the TV, but we've found that this function is more likely to be present if your TV supports digital optical sound output. If you have a sound bar or stereo receiver on the other hand, we have a different solution.
@@Avantree Thanks for prompt reply. My tv has both optical and ext speaker output sockets. Tv has options to select sound output either tv speaker, headphone, ext speaker, ext speaker(optical, hdmi) , lg sound sync (optical), lg sound sync (wireless). I want to connect one headphone wirelessly and at the same time others should be able to listen through soundbar which is connected to the ext speaker socket of tv. Unfortunately if I select ext speaker in the sound output menu of tv other outputs won't be available. Only ONE output is selectable. What to do? Kindly reply. Look into our other product - HT5009 or HT5006, they both have a feature called "Bypass", it'll be able to do what you're looking for. See this video for details: ua-cam.com/video/8WLuuOqr9H4/v-deo.html
Hi Brian, the HT280 uses AAA sized NiMH rechargeable batteries. The ones that come with it lasts ~2 years, we replace them for free within warranty coverage, and we sell spare ones on our website :)

do you need an Audio Output Splitter if you want to connect it to a Smart TV?
No, you should be able to connect them directly to the TV, unless you have a very complex audio system with other devices already connected to the TV.
Very good silent explanation. Available in India ?
Yes we are, please go to avantree.com/where-to-buy and filter for India for our authorized resellers.
Can it connect on smartphones?
No you can't. The HT280 is a 2.4 GHz set so they only work with each other.
Good video. Thank you. I have a Toshiba Fire TV and need to know what connection to use??
Your TV should have a Digital Optical audio output port. You may use that.
How to connect wireless or Bluetooth EAR/HEAD phones to an old TV (that doesn’t have Bluetooth or Witeless?
You'll need a Bluetooth adapter (transmitter), not the one shown in this particular video. Our Audikast Plus is a good choice :)
One person wants to hear on headphone others directly from tv. Is it possible to do this simultaneously ? Kindly reply

what product do you have?
I just bought the Insignia NS-HAWHP2 model, works good with my TV, but I cannot connet it to my phone via bluetooth. I don't know why. Any help?
The model you purchased uses RF technology, not Bluetooth.
@@Avantree What are the advantages of RF over Bluetooth technology?

These pieces of equipment are designed to watch TV, not to talk on the phone. It does not use Bluetooth technology.
