    I have low porosity hair, and I was wondering that if you close your cuticles by rinsing it with cold water, how can your hair still absorb the moisturizing products you use afterwards?

    What if you don't have a hooded dryer ? Would that defeat the purpose ? Or it's okay to just leave the towel on your head for 30 mins w/o the dryer ?

    • @tranquildoe
      @tranquildoe Рік тому

      If you have a hair dryer with a bonnet attachment, that should work. If not, I think it would work better to take a steamy shower (you wouldn't put your hair under the spray, but just let the steam soak into it).

    Soooo I never understood buying steamers...like cant you just add product and take a hot shower? Or...cant you use your own body to create your own steam (aka....putting a bag or shower cap on wet hair and adding heat on top)? I do both of these methods...I add a bit of peppermint oil diluted in another oil to stimulate blood flow and cleanse the scalp. All these hand held steamers seem like such a scam to me...just my opinion.
