Ultimately, I love the pixel remaster treatments of the first three games more than the latter three...not just because they had a lot more freedom to work with, but because so many of their tracks have gone woefully unappreciated since they're all shorter and from the 3rd Generation. Distant Worlds has given us, like, one medley that was only a couple songs from the first three games.
So I finished FF3 (PR) for the first time this weekend, and honestly I wasn't expecting the music to go so hard. So many great tunes! Eternal Wind may be one of my favourite game tracks of all time to be honest.

It's impressive to hear 8 bit compositions take on this magnitude with re-orchestration. The works of Nobuo Uematsu are incredibles
