When you travel in a group of 60, nobody would want to deal with that. You are the kind of people who have turned Ladakh into a circus. Thank God you're planning on not going to Bhutan.
No worry dear, Bhutan has lost an opportunity to host and welcome a nice person in their country. You didn't lose anything. At the same time many of us, who are following your tour, have a dent in their minds when it comes to Bhutan's hospitality. Have a safe journey. And plan for another tour. We are eagerly waiting for that. ☺☺
The general Bhutanese people are extremely nice, but the govt officials at the Immigration and RSTA are unnecessarily rude, irritated and seem irate for some reason.
I totally agree with you on this. Me and two of my friends faced the same kind of harassment in bhutan . Fortunately we got the permit done in the first day but when we went to the thimphu permit office the real pain and confusion began. It is very disappointing but I would say you were lucky that the harassment didn't continued through out the whole trip like it did with us.
Personal experience - Had visited Thimpu and Paro last year on October with saddle bags on. Lovely weather and scenery but AMEN to your statement brother, the people in the office are blunt and rude, had reached during lunch so got a guy from jaigaon who asked for 500 bucks to process my RSTA since i was already late and had to go for immigration and so he did my RSTA. No issues on that part and then left from pheuntsholing at 4.30 p.m. In the office i had a backpack and a helmet and had to go to someone to get a sign and as soon as i politely asked to let me in he was like KEEP YOUR LUGGAGE OUTSIDE in a very very harsh tone. Most people are nice but some are blunt and sound harsh. Rest assured it is a real beautiful country with strict rules but very good road sense and concern for safety. Next time you plan on visiting Bhutan let me know as I got a friend a Bhutanese citizen but a nepali from Kalimpong who recently opened a tour operations. Hope it might help. Prayers for a safe ride back home - Avinand Pradhan, all the way from Kalimpong (India) ... 🙏
Hi, I am planning to travel Bhutan on my bike starting coming Friday. I have heard some rumors that you cannot travel solo on bike and for especially bikers you need to hire a car escort service who will be with you throughout the journey. I don't want to pay extra please help and let me know what can be done.
In Kakarbhitta Nepal it hardly takes half an hour for permit /bhansal.. for cars I mean and you have to pay a minimum amount in Birtamode which is called Yatayat Department for road tax. It is much more easier on holiday's.. a person is always present outside the office. However it's bit tricky for newcomers to locate the office.. as the small signboard is hanged on a tree by the highway which is hardly visible...after paying the fee just keep on driving...Heteuda.. Narayanghat.. Mugling.. Pokhara..Kusma.. Baglung.. Beni.. Mustang...
Most of the Bhutanese officers have that stereotypical mentality towards Indians, even though most of us love and respect them. As much as Bhutan is getting developed the superiority complex of Bhutanese towards Indians is also growing.
I have been to Bhutan, though not on a bike, but I have had a very good experience with them. They were polite and warm. I think this time of the year when it rains a lot and causes multiple landslides throughout the country, they might be refusing. Drive through the mountains during heavy downpour is extremely risk and they might be afraid of that only
You know what, this turn of events makes this tour very real. We as admirers got a sense of what could it mean when you are suddenly made to discontinue the tour. This makes it so much more authentic than the ‘Long way around’ type of dream worlds where all and any diplomatic barriers are surmountable. I think this is a really important experience you had. Ohhh I did Bhutan in 2017 I didn't had any problem for getting permit.. within 2-3 hours everything was done. May be they have changed rules now...sad 😣
Most of the tourists extend by 7 days in Thimphu and it is an easy and efficient process (unlike in Phuentsholing). Also, they don't deny access to any place. As long as you had got the bike permits, I would say it would have been good
I was watching this in my room. Its summer here, but the air conditioner turned to 18 degree, and i felt like its raining out there.. rainy ride always dope bro. Keep riding and get wet❤️
It's a huge disappointment that they treated you guys like that. We rode there this February, it was a beautiful experience then. People were good, helpful. I don't know how they changed in such a short while. It's such a beautiful place to ride in otherwise.
You choose the wrong time bro... Best time to visit Bhutan from Oct - Dec'15... again from March-May 15th. We traveled on Dec'2018 awesome chilling cold ... Bhutan Road was awesome. One more thing that I want to share for all riders is that Bhutan RTO doesn't allow any noisy & loud silencer. They are very strict over sound pollution & traffic rules.
Perhaps you'll enjoy being informed that in Brazil, "Bhutan" is a term to refer to the... well, you know, to that lower bodly hole we all have. No further comments. :D :D :D
I don't understand why they do so much of dramas. And they keep roaming in India without any proper documentation. I am from Assam, and whenever i go towards lower assam i see lots of people from their country keep roaming in India. This is sad.
Exactly bro, I'm from Bongaigaon and bhutia people roam here freely. They use our highway to pass through cos they don't have any roads. But if we go to gelephu we have to face the same problem as Rohit bro faced in this video
And for Bangladeshi too. They are infiltrating all over NE states entering illegally. There may be some reason for not allowing Bikers but for this mere problem blaming all the people or targeting particular country is not ethically right
@@UCantSeeemeee Of course generalization is never a right thing. But at the same time being blind to the reality is also not right. Because what happened to Rohith bro in that immigration office is the reality that most of the Indian people face. Surely you can close your eyes and pretend that these problems do not exists, but it's not going to solve the problem. First step towards reaching any solution to a problem is to acknowledge that the problem exists and we are simply talking about that problem. Not blaming any particular country here, and the question of ethics doesn't come here because we are talking about what's true.
@@bigraibasumatary2716 Bigrai Basumatary it is absurd that u are mentioning most Indian face trouble in respective office , but I clearly want to say I have been traveling to many places, take example in NE states Such as Sikkim or manipur u have to produce Your Essential documents to enter the states, I have experience good and bad people, sometimes it get delayed to get the permit but doesn't mean that I will generalize all people were bad. If the concern authority is not resolving the problem then go to higher authority . Govt official all are same whether India or Bhutan corrupt people are everywhere , but some in the comment section are instigating people against Bhutan.
At this time of the year, Thimphu Phuntsholing high way is very risky especially too risky for Bikers. There are multiple stretches of life threatening roads blocks and landslides. Jumba, Gedu, Taktikota areas really scary if you really understand. I have been following almost all the bikers/vloggers that enters Bhutan. It’s very unfortunate that you have to go through this experience. About a thousand Indian workers/tourists throng the immigration office every single day for the permit and it would have been a hectic day.
This is what will happen when Indian bikers or tourists go to a peaceful and happy country like Bhutan and do the same things they have been doing in India. Being an Indian, I respect the people of Bhutan and its culture a lot.
Just to be optimistic, let's say everything happens for the better good. Sometime in future when you travel back to Bhutan you may experience the sights of the country in a more beautiful way than you could have done this time... Roads and boundaries never end for riders...
Yea rohith...We too rode to Bhutan during first week of June this year.... Guides in Phuentsoling were trying hard to scam... We were denied bike permit due to rain and landslides in Bhutan . We got our bike permit a day after and that RTO was way too rude 😐... But once we entered Bhutan offically things were different . People were very friendly and humble 🙂

i so sorry to know that u had gone through so much. actually it was the road conditions which was blocked n heavy landslides in several areas were happening during ur visit to bhutan and the RSTA officials were avoiding the two wheelers which was a threat in that conditions to go through. As the authorities had to also look into the weather conditions before allowing the tourist so as to have a safe n enjoyable trip to bhutan. sometimes our govenment officials are bit rude in conveying the messages not only to indians but even to us too. do visit next time to bhutan and avoid during the monsoon season till than ride safe n stay safe...
I thought bhutan was nice and was planning to go but this made me think twice😥
@Atlantic Pacific will surely consider in options...thanks
Rohit, why they are not allowing Saddle?.
What is the problem with that?.
Hey.. its better to take some agent for permits in Jaigoan. And there is no issue of saddle bags. I went in Dec 2017. Try to do Bhutan in Oct-Dec.
Ohhh I did Bhutan in 2017 I didn't had any problem for getting permit.. within 2-3 hours everything was done. May be they have changed rules now...sad 😣
Influence of china ha bro
Which month did you go ??
Feeling sad bro 😢 kashtama iruku but hope u will make this trip
Not to worry Rohith bro.. may be one day for sure Bhutan tourism themselves will invite you to explore their country 🙂
Unlike in INdia , Bhutan cares for the lives of people therefore no permit issued to these gentlemen.
Generic Girl so rude behaviour is justified? They are travelers.... Is this how you people treat guests? Shameful!
@@pasttimer27 Could you point out where in the video the said "rudeness" occured ?
Nice vlog. Which camera u using for vlog?
Most of the tourists extend by 7 days in Thimphu and it is an easy and efficient process (unlike in Phuentsholing). Also, they don't deny access to any place. As long as you had got the bike permits, I would say it would have been good
I was watching this in my room.
Its summer here, but the air conditioner turned to 18 degree, and i felt like its raining out there.. rainy ride always dope bro. Keep riding and get wet❤️
Can you please upload your vlogging gear all the equipment
Lava forest route is very very good, have done that last year...most people don't even know about that
It's a huge disappointment that they treated you guys like that.
We rode there this February, it was a beautiful experience then. People were good, helpful. I don't know how they changed in such a short while. It's such a beautiful place to ride in otherwise.
There’s many things to explore in NorthBengal, you can visit there also!
Almost spit my coffee out at "we're currently following Spiderman"
how did u shoot in the rain?is ur mic waterproof and how to prevent water drops from covering the lens of the gopro?
Every other motovlogger is a fool , gopro has a waterproof case .
I was planning of Bhutan on September. Dammmm
Bro maybe change of plan or location ? Gurudongmar 😜
Unlucky mate.. gutted as you guys were..
Bhai , what you do for living and how you manage to get so much time to do such long tours ?
Yes, I have the same question. Just replace 'time' with 'money'.
He is freelancer CA
This is what will happen when Indian bikers or tourists go to a peaceful and happy country like Bhutan and do the same things they have been doing in India. Being an Indian, I respect the people of Bhutan and its culture a lot.
Most underrated moto vlogger... best wishes brother... better than MN
This had happened with us also. Staying in Bhutan & making passes there is a lots of pain. Fortunately a local helped us at the last moment. But d treatment we got there leaded my gf to never go again there & still I can't convince her to go again.
If it’s Sikkim number u have to wait for less than an hour
Which 🏍️🏍️ u r using for this road trip.
Thunderbird 500
that's sad news! It takes a lot of preparations and efforts to make such rides and when things end up like this then the "rant" which you showed is not the real one ;) Anway's India has a lot of better places to see, explore. Reminds me of a story called "Angoor khattey hain" :D
Aaah man.. Thts so disappointing... I had different 'imagination' for bhutan people.. But as u said.. Signs or challenges.. Hope things change soon.
Neenga Tamil nadu??
Bhutan is known for its hospitality and friendliness
I have been there several times and always I found the Bhutanese to be very helpful and friendly. I don't why you faced this situation.
Hope to go back again and experience the better side of Bhutan, for sure.
Soo sad to hear from you the experience border crossing to Bhutan
I waited, and waited for the rant to start, then it was, "rant over." If I had wasted that much time for nothing, I would be all like..... 🤬🤬😵🤬🤬😵🤬😵 THAT would be a proper rant! 😁
Bro what is the difference between hospitality n nature of people at nepal or bhutan
The same hotel i was stayed in jaigoan but i really so sad about the permit issue
"Currently following Spiderman..!" LMAO!
Let it go Bro....Bhutan is best from September....Even Bullu bhai did it during rainy sesons....i guess they have gone very strict now
Keep Riding Don't give up....!! :)
Koi ni Bhai...there are lot of places to visit on bike. Things like this happens, every country is different.
Oh no we are planning to ride through Bhutan .
So disappointed for you not making it through to BHUTAN, i hope they bring better amendments in their tourism policies. Crossing through Phuentsholing is a big headache. 🥴
What's your camera gear?
Right decision from bhutan love from Nepal🇳🇵
You sure? If Indians send nepalis back
@@vinodreddy2819 and sure! what about Nepal send indian back think twice you are not a government bro then just keep your mouth shut i will do the same 🙏
Nepal needs India. India doesn't need Nepal.
Ohhh i am afraid 🖕
@Aditya Singh Yadav ,🖕🖕✌️✌️✌️
Really appreciate your effort thanks
Disappointing for us the viewers as well, you guys tried what ever you could! Better luck next time to all of us.
Challenges or Signs.....Listen to you heart it knows 🙏
I experience the same, they are very rude and less information, so I didn’t go to Thimpu
Bro, It's their loss. More power to you🤙🏽
Is passport necessary to visit Bhutan or we can visit with any other ID
As far as I'm aware, yes.
