    Absolutely love my TX200HC in .177, the most accurate, smooth and quietest springer I've ever used. Feels like a highly tuned rifle straight out of the box.

    Reassuring to watch this video as I bought this rifle! After using a friend’s Krahl PCP I decided to go for a high end springer. I wanted something I could rely on for accuracy so the rest is down to me. It is heavy and that looks great shooting from that position. I’m very happy with mine. I like a Buff too by the way....useful things! Thanks for this.

      MrDazp1 Thanks for this. Of those I’ve tried JSB Exact Jumbos seem to be working OK and the quality seems consistent. I will try the Air Arms Diabolo Field at some point as they seem to crop up in a lot of reviews.

    You will get tighter groups with AA field Diabolo pellets. The barrels are tested at the factory with these pellets.

    First, shooting a springer (gas or spring piston) is entirely differant than shooting our PCP rifles. If you compound a lack of practice with shooting from an unsupported position of any variation, it is likely the rifle will not produce at distances beyond 25 yards / meters. When selecting the pellets that hold the best at a given distance, 5 or more shots in the same hole aren't uncommon with a proper benchrest. The TX200. What sets the TX apart is the quality of the material and workmanship. A few hours ago, I dropped one TX200HC into the cart; now I realize that I forgot to select the walnut option. I will surely do so. Indeed the finish on that stock is impeccable. I thank the Almighty that I am a sel-taught ambidextrous shooter with pistol and all long guns. Crossbow as well. Finally, if you have a left handed stock, that is yet another variable which requires practice; considering your comment about issues with the left handed stock.

    • @MrDazP1adv3ntures
      @MrDazP1adv3ntures  Рік тому +2

      Thanks for the comments Russ, I borrowed the TX from a friend who was left handed but couldn't resist the chance to have a plink with it.
      I like the idea of a natural shooting position on one knee because it adds a certain amount of control to the session and requires a higher level of concentration.
      Pellet choice is key and I should have used some higher grade pellets.
      Best of luck with your acquisition pal 👍

      @MrDazP1adv3ntures Extremely pleased with my TX200HC! About 2 weeks ago it arrives at the residence I am currently moving from, just at the time I realized I'd been scammed for 8G. Yet, the good Lord stabilized that inconvenience the previous week with another win at casino. Everyone suddenly has an urgent situation when that occurs. Especially the ladies. I suppose I should clarify: The 20th Century term 'woman' 'lady' Well, having been all over SE Asia those folks are artists, not WOKE. They shall be excluded. I use Ely wasp pellets on my old bsa’s and webleys they are 5.6. Fit the old barrels perfectly. But don’t work well on newer barrels. When the soft Ely pellet expands its too tight binding on the rifleing.
      A air rifle piston travels at around 400 mph. And it make the back of the pellet open up like a umbrella making the rifleing do it’s job. This is why alloy and copper pellets are a bit crap.

    I’ve been pondering over the pro sport or one of these and I’m still up in the air not deciding yet. I do a lot of vermin control and have an array of Weihrauch’s but as I’m getting to a certain age having shot all manners of guns especially airguns I’m wanting to add one more to my collection and especially an air arms. The thing is the pro sport is the better looking and the tx200 is also a looker but will be easier to cock if I’m in a hide or tight spot and as I have a Weihrauch hw97 I keep swaying towards the pro sport then I keep changing my mind, very indecisive at the moment but the pro sport is the pinnacle of all air rifles I believe and it’s the proud ownership of having one. @@MrDazP1adv3ntures Well I've had the pro sport for a few days now and first impressions were just wow the looks and finish on the rifle are just incredable from butt to the end of the barrel, the whole gun is faultless and the walnut stock is amazing with some lovely grain within it.
      After fitting a scope and started to zero it in from the first shot i could feel just how smooth the firing cycle is, the trigger is the best ive ever used and I've shot Weihrauch's all my life and their rekord triggers are fantastic but this pro sport's i believe is so much better and much lighter straight from the box, very impresive indeed. There is no twang when the pellet is sent on its way just a dull thud and the accuracy is mind blowing. At 35 yards i was getting six shot groups less than a 5 pence piece and just prior to that i took my new hw100kt in 177 to zero as i'd swapped scopes and i was getting the same results so this pro sport is producing pcp results, honestly if you can get hold of one to try i'm sure youll be as impressed as i am.
      I picked it up on monday and every day I've been feeding the wood with linseed oil and it hasn't half brought the walnut stock up really well and I'm still feeding it daily as i want to really make this stock stand out. So yes I'm over the moon with it, expensive yes but I've been wanting one for years and I'm not getting any younger and niether is my health and thats why I've gone ahead and bought one while i can enjoy it.

    Ten shot strings = 2 groups (twice) ? Are you at the coast, maybe ? Lots of wind and not the best place to test accuracy. Just a bit blonde that stock, a bit like mine. Those deep dark brunette walnutters are scarce nowadays I'm afraid. Pour some engine oil over it ? Do keep that knurled cocking aid well lubed because the wafer pattern rusts easily. Shudavbin stainless. Next time you get a lefty you might bring a second "Buff" cap and place it over the "Butt".... change 2 letters and ease that sharp roll-over ridge. No silencing baffles, just empty space near the muzzle in that barrel shroud. But you had a little muzzle insert job muffling the sound a bit. For classy underlever comparison, there are now 3 to do - don't forget to include the recent Walther LGU....
    I would have liked to see a side lever option in AA's modern range, like the old models you referred to but then with this TX breech lay-out instead of that dodgy tap loader ! Plse keep those reviews coming, dear Daz ! They got CHARACTER !

I shoot up in the hills and always seem to have a breeze in the quarry. Personally I like to shoot free hand and see what the rifles can do which isn't scientific but this appeals to me. I noticed in the video that the stock left a mark on my cheek too. I would love to have a go of the other rifle you mentioned too. Thanks for watching.

      @MrDazP1adv3ntures  2 роки тому +1

      Hello Shannon,. That's a fair distance but I'm sure the air riffle will be able to perform once you have established the drop over that range. I presume you will be resting the barrel on a mount or bean bag too. Personally I wouldn't shoot over 40 metres because I know that I am not good enough to hit a target let alone have decent groupings.

    • @redpillnibbler4423
      @redpillnibbler4423 Рік тому

      Mate 70/80 yards is way too far for sub 12ft.lbs there’s a very high risk of wounding.
      Hunting is about fieldcraft and being confident of a clean kill,40 meters is a long shot in ideal conditions for a good marksman.
      A good hunter ensures a humane kill not taking pot shots,practice patience and fieldcraft and ignore the ego of people boasting about long shots,yes it can be done but the % is low.
