Just took delivery of a walnut left handed .22 HC model I've had a hw97 before great gun BUT the tx200 has a far better finish and is loads better to shot out the box because of the piston running on delrin bands no twang or vibration from the internals probably the best Springer available right now ( this as proberly opened a can of worms with the weihrauch guy's 🤔 )
Hello Sir
Great review, excellent photography- most excellent. I have just purchased an immaculate beech stocked TX200 Mk3 this very morning. Looking forward to it's arrival and comparing it to the Venom/V-Mach HW77 and HW80's that I own. You can see the HW77 'genes' in the configuration of the TX200. Air Arms have always produced high quality, well engineered, very goo looking rifles. Back in the latter part of the 80's, when I acquired my HW77 in 1986, a friend of mine owned a very fine Air Arms Camargue. The Camargue had a particularly lovely walnut stock with Tyrolean cheek piece. I agree with you observation that Weihrauch, whilst superbly engineered, cannot match AA in aesthetic terms. The stock on the TX200 featured in your review is a thing of beauty. I'd be happy to lay it down on a gun bag in my living room and just admire it. Excellent review, keep them coming! :)
Tks for sharing IRG
I still have a TX200HC mkII I bought new in 1995,very easy to reset safety and de-cock. Still love it and feels so good to shoot 26 years later. Completely stock as well, probably only 3 or 4 tins of ammo ever put through it.
enjoyed the review
Got one yesterday spot on but kept my HW77k like both 22 same calibre and beech stocks, Great review
Nice review, Thanks.
Great gun. The safety can be re-engaged by cocking the lever again. HW97 the same. Also, TX200 can be decocked without firing the pellet. This is not the case with HW97, however.
Nice review
Thanks for the review. Can't wait to get mine. Reddit brought me here :)
Superbly accurate tx200 nice shot..
I have the TX200HC in .177 Beech stock. Probably the smoothest, quietest and most accurate springer I've ever shot. Feels like a highly tuned rifle straight out of the box. You sound like you come from my neck of the woods in the Black Country fella. ;)
I keep looking at the lovely fish scale chequering on mine. I'm not really into springers, but I like this gun.
Thanks for the review. Not much of a test at 15yds but it is very pretty.
They're cracking rifles!
Good video, just bought the mk 3 fitted Rowan cocking aid 4x12x50AO thanks
I have a tx200hc .22 and I’ve just fitted a standard AA spring in it and fitted a new plenum and it has a TBT kit in and shoots at 10.45 lbs after 100 shots
nice looking unit
I have one in .22, I love it!
