Batman, Alfred, Gollum, Black Widow, Alfred, David Bowie, this was a crazy crossover experiment from Mr Nolan.
You missed Wolverine \|/
Very rewatchable movie. You always discover something new each time. My recent one (pretty obvious for super observant people) was Angier is actually his alias. Lord caldwell was his real identity. He was a rich man disguising as an up and coming magician because it is an unrespectable profession (in upper class society). You can notice this in his methods. Angier knows how to build up the audience hype and tension because he is eloquent and does not get nervous talking to large crowds. As for the tricks themselves, he relied more on fancy contraptions (which he can easily afford. Dude stayed in a hotel for an indefinite amount of time for tesla) because he does not care about the trick as much as getting the cheers and oohs from the crowd. He does not care about being unique and having some self respect ( He flat out copied the transported man trick from borden)
In comparison, borden is less educated so he does not have the showmanship skills. He likes the technical aspects of the tricks and is somewhat forced to perform in front of people so he could make money and feed his family. Since he cannot afford fancy contraptions, the solutions of his tricks are usually so simple but ingenious.
Wtf is this David Bowie
One of Nolan’s best plot twists. Great movie. And off course Bale is superb as always.
That judge has the Benjamin Franklin drip 🥶
What does this mean??
Faaax
I can always count on “instantly enjoying” minute movies 🍿
I hope your comment blows up with 4.5k likes, this is too under appreciated

This movie is so good and this recap just made it go up to my top 10 😂
My little brother also tried this challenge. Hes been going for 5 hours now, what a champ!🗿😎🥶👍
Hahaha how funny you are soooo original
@@jumper-us7ct How little do you have going on that you need to point this out?
Among Nolan's best work.
Absolute masterpiece.
This movie is one of my top two and as a huge fan of it i have an advice on how to watch it.
First - watch the movie - it's a masterpiece and even if you pay attention there's a bit of mystery left
THEN - read the book - a great book and you get a bit more detail on who what why and where - or at least more hints
Now watch the movie again and see how your brain puts things together
And last but not least - watch Minute Movies' recap of it and instantly enjoy it, the man knows his humour.
Usually i'm big supporter of reading books first, but i don't know, personally i really enjoyed doing things in the order that i described. It's a *really* good story and very interesting characters.
To me personally Angier is one of the most relatable and at the same time despicable characters out there.
Crushing the New Year. Keep up the amazing work! Onward towards 1million!!
the best movie of the best actor, Hugh Jackman
I always like watching minute movies summarize movies iIve already seen. Keep up the great work throughout 2023 king!

This movie takes place within a flashback of a flashback. Also, the entire movie follows the three acts of a magic trick: The pledge, the turn, and the prestige.
Oooh, interesting!
O my God
that movie was so complicated
10/10

Best part about this movie, Christian Bale and Michael Caine in the same movie other than Batman. Plus, Bale is named Alfred

Oh no! You did the thing! It’s not 360 degrees it’s 180 degrees to turn around. 360 is a complete circle ⭕️ lol I guess it’s good to know we’re all paying attention
Hehehe thank you 😊

I am too late
I have failed you daddy😭😭😭😭
I don't get is angier still alive or not
the great danton is the great d
I am so disappointed in people.... This guy deserved to get to 1 mil before 2023 ...
Dude he's funny but there are actually original content creators like The Minute Hour or Drue Langlois that deserve that more.
Your bar for entertainment is disappointingly low lmfao
This was a good recap let's see Paul Allen's recap
(got that glock on him) hmm
Elon Musk watching the end clip: 😭
Notification gang on top
Last
im surprised electricity is so common, id think this would be in about 1940
Yo I think you downloaded the wrong Batman movie.
Spoilers: Actually seen the movie twice or three but only your review made me pause on the fact that 'Angier' learnt of Tesla's machine from Borden.
Which in turn implies that Borden's twin is not a twin!
He simply got one turn in Tesla's machine and decided instead of killing himself for the trick using the machine over and over, do use the double amount of himself for his career and life instead of using the machine over and over.
Learning by the end of the movie that Borden and his copy of himself were very different from each other so much that their women knew what's up without knowing, implies 'Angier' killed many copies of himself that all were full on human beings and minimizing them to just something to kill off every show is evil. he was indeed the bad guy in the movie which is another trick in it self since most of the movie you feel like Borden is the bad guy and 'Angier' is the good guy.
The Twins are twins. They are not clones. He sent him to see Tesla because the idea was a wild goosechase and nothing would have come from it.
The book pretty much confirms it.
Angier would have been a genius if he didn't kill his clones and btw Borden has a twin, they didn't just clone him
No, he was a twin. Tesla obviously didn't even know his device was working until Angier discovered the duplicates. I honestly don't get how you could make this blatant mistake; Oh wait, I know. You just wanted a given conclusion to be true, so you forced it without concern for all the contradictions
Damnnnn u didn’t have to own him like that
I want to belive this so bad bro , thanks for the insight, but is just isn’t true 😭 sorry
Patrick Bateman
Day 55 of asking for American Psycho
