Handel's Messiah is the entire Choral production of which the Hallelujah Chorus is one triumphant portion. It's based on scripture foreshadowing and proclaiming the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and is absolutely glorious. I sang this in H.S. Choir as a Soprano 1 and was absolutely stunned at how well Dan did at this. It's truly a masterpiece.

Magnificent isn't a large enough word; there isn't one. I've been in church and school choruses/choruses and have performed the Hallelujah Chorus. This is without a doubt the only truly perfect rendition I've heard or expect to ever hear.

Hello Play Again! I am not sure why, but when you played this video, it did not show Dan's faces, only his necks!! It was so weird but you did not say anything and I did not read anything about it in other comments so not a clue what happened. I sang Handel's Hallelujah Chorus in choirs from 4th grade until I graduated from High School and also years later with a Community Choir. It has no connection to the modern song titled "Hallelujah". I so agree with you about how exceptional all of Dan's videos and voice are. He has worked very hard to achieve this high standard for himself and does not like to be referred to as gifted. He represents his generation so well with his work ethic and love of family, friends, and country. He also loves the U.S.A. !! What a gift he is to our world. Great reaction, as usual. In case you’re not familiar with the piece, it’s in 4 parts: basses top right, tenors bottom right, altos (usually women) bottom left, sopranos (usually women) top left. Each part is recorded 6 separate times. It must have been a nightmare editing them all together so flawlessly. Not to mention singing the soprano part!

The Hallelujah Chorus is one song from the Score entitled Handel's Messiah. It has no relation to the popular pop song Hallelujah. Handel's Messiah is very old, probably near a century or longer old.

If you didn't know, Handel wrote a 3+ hour (roughly) masterpiece that is an entire retelling of Jesus Christ's story. It is very long and the song "Hallelujah Chorus" is the end of the piece. The final triumphant sound if you will. I am just outlining it honestly but it is an incredible piece of work that needs more attention from people even if they aren't religious or Christian in any way. It is so beautiful and uplifting that anyone can enjoy it. It is typically sung around Christmas time (for a reason 😄) and is a gift to the world. Dan Vasc so young to do this one song by himself is insane and I am here for it.
