Calendar Visual Power BI - Custom Visual

I like to add cards (no. of cards depends on the event status), the total no. of events should change as I nevigate thru months on the calendar. I tried doing this on this calendar, but no luck. Please let me know if it can be done with this calendar visual, if Yes then how?

The calendar is created but events are not populating on the calendar itself, what am I missing? :(

How do you add bank holidays / national holidays to this? i can see the option but unsure how to do to it?
