ID software has been around forever!! From very 1st DOOM in very very early 90s into 2025. Every DOOM is amazing as so is QUAKE. Now with INSANE processors installed into PCs games are going to get even more INSANE. Handheld devices are getting insane too. I picked up Lenovo Legion Go updated AMD Ryzen processor, installed 2TB SSD, 1TB micro SD man that Legion Go packs some serious power. Only downside to Legion Go is battery, I had to buy 3 85watt 20,000mah power banks for it. It will run next-generation console AND PC titles flawlessly!!! You can change the performance on the fly, use your XBOX controller. Playing Resident Evil 4 remake gold edition and runs excellent on Legion Go. Boomer shooters FPS run excellent too. Downloading STEAM, Gamesplanet, Rockstar Club etc is super simple. Don't really like Windows 11 on it because of all the bloatware installed but uninstall want you like etc. It's gonna be good year for super badass games!!!
So this is the mythical big kaboosh...🧐🤔🤨 They made a yawn-fest back in 2016, then brought up Kermit to shoot Fozzie & Miss Piggy with a rocket launcher in 2020😵💫, and now...well, now as they said themselves: "you''ll be proud to see that in a lot of ways, - the feel of the game is really returned to form" (54:42) ...we shall see. I am ready to give it every benefit of the doubt, and find out in time if it's worth buying new hardware just for that, but more so - i would be glad to see if the creators of both Quakes still have something left beyond a faded memory - to hold a meek candle to the sheer creative genius of the indie armada.
Oh boy this new Doom is something beautiful. They even added speed selectors, nice one.
Doom is DOOM, remains DOOM and will remain DOOM forever!
