I'm really bad about stretching myself too thin when it comes to savings challenges. I just finished a couple & I'm having to stop myself from picking another two to take their place 😆. I think im still currently working on completing 8 others & that's really still too many for me to be doing at a time. It was so satisfying seeing you count all the cash sped up. I just pulled out $1,300 from my envelopes in smaller bills that I need to take to the bank today & switch it all for hundreds. I get all sorts of crazy looks when they see me take all of those bills out 😆 my husband was excited because he thought it was saved up fun money, but I was like, "Nope. This much goes to car maintenance. This amount goes to Christmas, etc..." 😂
I definitely got a wtf look from the teller when I pulled that brick out of my purse! 😂😂😂

I did a refresh recently as well. I have a lot I want to do and I now do a mix of mini, regular and games. I love the minis and games.

I changed how I was saving completely as well but it was the opposite for me. I saved $10 on hello honey. Loved it!!!!! Yes...I think the balance is to manage the evolution...not have it manged me. I celebrate 1 year of being a part of the community Sep 1 and I am contemplating reevaluating and simplifying....or...setting more clear foundations...I feel like it is not a true representation in some ways for me because I have been managing the repair project. . .paying things out of pocket for additional things I need to do for the house in addition to the insurance required things....It feels like I have still been able to gain some ground in my savings account...while doing all these things...Of course in my home value it should show up there somewhere at some point too. . .It is just....a little scary....at times....but trusting myself...and of course God to help have what I need....Your channel and your journey (in addition to others in the community) are really helping me to....stay focused on my targets and not get frustrated with life. LOL

Wow you had a lot of money in so many different places. I had to stop playing so many different games and just concentrate on a few to because of the same reason. It seemed like I could never finish one cause my money was stretched over to many of them. I saved $14 with Hello Honey (this is the one game that I will always have)

Curious on your thought process with the 20k chall. And this is purely money motivation lmao not the 'you shouldnt have that much money in your home' people...i would put what you do have in a HYSA and use prop money for your envelopes. Letting the interest build. Ik you started one for something else you could either combine to accure more interest and use a spreadsheet to keep track of amounts for the different categories or open another one it would still accure some nice interest on 5k. ❤

I have actually made more money on the views of unstuffing my 20k than a HY would net. I’ve made more in 6 months (so far) than I would’ve made in a year already.
