My wife does a monthly budget breakdown afterward and does a pie chart. Shes extreme 😂😂😂😂 I noticed one of my major spending issues is my compulsion. I don't know why I don't tell myself no. I need a rubber band on my wrist to smack myself 😂

I didnt have a budget until jan this year and it was so enlightening to see how my money was disappearing on its own somehow 😅 Now I'm hoping that i can leave this art of budgeting legacy down to Fayfee ❤
Same here! Just comes in and somehow finds it’s way right back out!! It’s crazy how hyper aware we have to be!

For sure! Writing down everything for 3 months will definitely show those patterns of your spending.

I’m a spender so I’m now on a 30 day no spending challenge and I’m going pay me $2 for every day I don’t spend I’m on a government pension so little bits plus I took money out of my super to help my daughter so I’m going to save it add to it and put it back before I spend it

So I've been through all this before but gave up on it because of the time investment involved. The budget was helping so much, I'm kicking myself for giving up. Wouldn't you know it, old habits die hard. Hard than you might think. Plus I have to do all the things, so I love the savings challenges but I need to hold off on them for now. The goal is to have a new budget set up before August 15th. I hope to have it setup before the 1st but I've been procrastinating.
That’s what I want to do. Have this set up my Aug 1st.
You can definitely get it done.
Take the time for yourself and remind yourself how truly important it is. Make it a priority.

No I actually don’t do that. I go through receipt when I’m done and add up different envelopes that would owe me $.
It took me a total of 6 hours for 2 checking accounts and 3 credit cards. This is a grueling process.
Amen. It really is. Once it’s done, it’s done. That’s the only saving grace.
