UniTree will be another DJI in robot industry.
Similar to Chinese Huawei!
Ban it, as always😅
Totally agree ❤ love Unitree

It's already for sale at Aliexpress since last year
Ah yes. It tilts it's hips to get that natural gait. That is the secret sauce.
yeah it actually is, even small RC robots can manage smooth walking with a properly implemented hip
they need to develop a more pronounced sway of the lower back as well
Wow! You’re the coolest people on earth! A real robot walks by and you don’t even look at it; just continue to stare into the phone (0:20)… 😮 …and the jogger doesn’t even cast a single glance at the robot overtaking her (0:53). Verily, verily…, I’m speechless…
Tesla's arm swing and leg stride don't even match. Its painful to watch it walk.
特斯拉的機器人,和拜登很像😅
@@原子小金剛-c1ythere are no robots that look as bad as trump.
For worker replacement, the most important aspects will be dexterity and lifting strength, not how well it walks.
@@ThePiemasteification Either way mechanical robots will never be more cost effective than people at irregular labor. Its all hype.
@@vaticinus $16,000 for one of these. And it'll only get cheaper with mass production. Even if they only last a year, that's half the cost of human labor.
Terminators in making.😮
Terminator model T-800 or CYBERDINE SYSTEMS INC Model 101. The T-800 is a cyborg, with a robotic endoskeleton and living tissue covering it. The reactor core is a ROSATOM Russian made micro sensor 6 blade Plutonium hydro cooled 90 year platinum assembly. The living tissue or cyborg skin is aerated and fed with direct osmosis electric platelet modifiers. The T-800 has no plastic in or around used in its manufacture.

now is t001,how far to t800
I can’t believe we are about to live in a era of cyborgs being around
cyborg = cybernetic organism. I do notnlook forward to the day where flesh and machine are mated as one.
This this is just a straight up robot. At best, you could call it an android.
Either way... It's all cute and fuzzy until it's pointing a gun at you.
Finally someone to play tennis with❤❤❤
Fear of robots taking over your job?
Why not buy one and put it to work to earn money for you?
Until everyone does that and no one needs that industry
Let me just pull out some of my robot purchasing money...
Hmmm. It'll be like that movie "the surrogate" starring Bruce Willis, where everyone has a robot surrogate who is forever pretty and young and goes to work for them.
@@spencerlarson9357 There are plenty of jobs for robots to do - even more than what humans can do.
Never runs out.
WTF does this mean? You are going to buy one robot then rent it to the factory? Or you want factory to treat it as your avatar and still pay your insurance or social security? Why wouldn’t a factory just buy it themselves?
Finally I get a pacemaker for running 🏃♂️
Apparently you need the G1 EDU to train for custom tasks via their SDK. Not sure what all the base G1 model can do yet.
The first I heard of someone buying Unitree G1 was Kai Cenat, and he paid $70K for it!
The Unitree old men have become younger and younger.
I just want it to clean the dishes and protect itself against theft
Tesla: But.... but.... but next year.
Tesla will have 5000-10000 built this year. That's more than unitree can build in 20 years. Prototypes are easy, manufacturing is hard.

Hey can we maybe put that quick release battery somewhere a little more accessible, like on the front or back of the torso 😅😅

@mingjielin5375 I think the OP was refering to the ability to pull the battery in a hurry, In Case of Emergency.
Still like 60 years old. But it might be 30 years old in one year.
Yes but can it reach the top shelf?
Doesnt sound like it.
It walks like Ace Ventura!!!!
With the right gyro mounted gun and targeting system and we've really got something
Every CGI shot needs to be labeled as such. It's getting nearly impossible to tell, on first viewing.
no,that is true,not cgi
You don't need labels when none of it is CGI. Well, except when it was very obvious, such as the training data sets that showed lots of models at once learning movements. The only thing that was not real but could (possibly?) be seen as real was the three doing a dance. That was more animations running on model. The actual robot could potentially play that same animation along with dynamic balance, but I believe the current models actuators may not handle that one as of now.
Everything else was the real machine running about.
I saw no evidence of CGI anywhere except maybe at the end with the matted in background.
What can it be programmed to do; if it could be programmed to mow my 2 acres and keep all my shrubs nicely pruned, I would pay $20,000 for one of them. I need four hours on a charge.
I emailed unitree and they said you can program custom tasks with the G1 EDU model, which there are several of and range from 35k - 60k, via their SDK, which uses python, c++, or ROS. You need to train motion sequences and tune with feedback from its sensors, like have it move forward then stop when 1ft from this object or obstruction. I assume it'll take some effort but perhaps training can be done via simulation using nvidia's IssacSIM or something. Charge time is approx. 2.5hrs for 3-4hrs of operation.
Hiring an amigo will cost an arm and a leg to mow your lawn.
Nah bro we need to be able to tell it to do something and have it do it like a servant.
@@Andrew-iq5ud Well yeah, that would definitely work for me!!!
@@peanut0brain But hey, it’s already costing me an arm and a leg to hire it out to be taken care of. The folks do a great job, but an Amigo on call, any day anytime, would be a significant upgrade.
This is not what happens at live events in China when they showcase them.
This has a slight AI enhancement feel
this is lab version
So are they 30.06 rated?
keep your AP rounds...
I like to believe that this is real. But it looks like AI generated.
It’s real get with it
Too good to be true. But the delivery guys in yellow let me believe these are real scenes.
i’m here about assist in the field and yes, these are all real videos. The only stuff that sometimes not real is sometimes they tell operate these so it’s not just the AI moving it and certain videos but the robots themselves are real they can walk, etc..
Its real but the programming them to do things is the real tricky part.
Walks better than me
Optimus weighs 125, not 170
$16k for G1 is a high price if it can’t do very many existing jobs so is really just a toy. If can be trained to do factory jobs, it’s a dirt cheap price. Optimus is intended to be a drop in replacement for most human labor - so it’s likely too valuable to be sold at all for a long time when it can be leased for a good fraction of the wages of labor it replaces.
The movements look like computer generated animation to me. I’m skeptical.
be as skeptical as u want. if u had watched China's Chinese New Year celebration, u wld have seen these robots dancing with their human counterparts in unison. they even twirl the handkerchiefs, throw them up in the air and catch those hankies. they rotate at the waist too.
Your right, then go home n sleep well

It's because you don't own Huawei phone. Huawei phone can detect AI or CGI.
The ai is inside the robot 🤯
how smooth is it's hand motion and tactile sensibility which actially make abot a useful human form factor for 95% of task compared to say a teslabot ?
What Tesla bot?
Did you see a Tesla bot do anything else than wave or serve drinks?

I really only need it talk to me with the ability to grip , twist, and pull things..mainly one thing .. is that too much to ask?
That task is on another track, the AGI field, Chatgpt and other AI models.
Does no one remember the Terminator movies? Why are all these AI's and robots such a good idea?

Walking isn't the main priority for a robot, it's hand and arm design. It should not run inside my home, but to clean it...
These are immediately required for facilities management, construction and other semi skilled jobs...

Make it so it can swap it's redundant battery out itself
thats gonna be impossible, because as SOON as the battery is out, im talking the speed of light here. it will drop dead on the floor before its able to switch its own battery. you could have a different robot that can switch its batterys.
I wonder if Will Smith will buy one?

They measure weight in metric. Or in stone. Rarely in pounds, that's an American thing.
i would love 2 wheels per foot to drive and walk... 🥰
then give it skates trying to install permanent wheels on a robot is a stupid idea
You guys need to get your facts right, you do these reviews and tout unitree advertising and do no actual journalism lol
Example
You mention a 16k price point that could be competitive to teslas Optimus but the model listed at 16k has it specifically listed on the unitree site that it doesn’t include actuated hands.
So in other words you took both models at face value, did no research and tried to spin it as a real product review when you could have done 15 minutes of research and made a real comparison between each robot. I love the unitree model but seeing all the misinformation about it is painful, just look into it as a normal consumer would.
они что гидравлические ?
Electric.
Even though I sometimes get scared and go the opposing direction, I can say right now that robots are the future due to economic pressures, and replacing people will be a good thing.
I'm sorry, but if you actually look into Unitree's robots, their awful. The look really good in thd companies CGi videos. The reality is..... there shite!
Given the speed of development, in less than 10yrs, robots will be 10x faster and more agile than any human…and it will be indefensible by any human being attacked by a robot.
That will happen only in China
Even with a gun?
no, the speed of development has not been that fast. We had Aimo walking into everything you seen in this video 15+ years ago. The speed is nowhere near what you claim
First they advertised for 16,000 and available now. Then I tried to buy one, but it was not possible, and now they ask 68,000. Typical Chinese bullshit

Well I suppose that settles it then.
There isn't any company remotely close to SpaceX
1. Mechanical robots are already close to maximum dexterity, yet they are still clumsy and/or slow
2. Robots will always consume more energy than a person. The Brain Operates on Very Little Power. About 20 watts of power. The average trained male cyclist can typically sustain about 3.5 watts per kilogram for an hour. A mechanical robot will always require orders of magnitude more energy to think and to act.
3. We currently don't have enough energy to power the data centers that will control the robots, or enough energy to power them.
4. The closest analogy to owning a robot is owning a car. Saying a $16,000 robot will only get cheaper with mass production. Is like saying cars will only get cheaper with mass production. We have been mass producing cars since henry ford and since then the price of a car has gone up. How Much Did Popular Cars Cost Every Year, Price in 2020 Dollars?
1918 Ford Model T $24,835.00
1971 Chrysler New Yorker $35,498.00
2020 Lexus IS $39,050.00
Don't fall for the hype. There are billions of people in Asia and Africa. Doing Jobs that robots currently can't do for less $2000 a year.
Robot is crap it can't cook or clean you need to control it it can't sweap the floor maybe vacuum
This is a joke nobody understands how to make a half decent robot?
