It's a demo. It's not uncommon for writers and producers to have unknown artists record demos that they shop around. That's how Toni Braxton got her big break singing demos for Anita Baker. So they weren't offered the song 1st.
How can this demo be made in 1995 when Tamia - So Into You came out in 1998??? I'm so confused by this timeline. Bey is clearly sampling 'So Into You' so this demo must be like 98 or 99
Well first its not a "DEMO" its an original song & the producers (Tim&Bob) took a piece of this unreleased song & put it in the Tamia song. Historically demos are done BEFORE an official recording is done to give the artist a general idea of how the song should be sang. In this case Beyonce recorded the song and did not use it therefore the producers gave took a few lines from it to create a new song for Tamia 3 years later and she actually released it. So even if it was a "demo" which it is not..DEMOS are always done BEFOREHAND. REMAKES/SAMPLES are recorded AFTER the original. Additionally the actual producer put this clip and the story behind it out, thats who you hear talking. He says she was 13 in the clip. Let's research things before we proclaim incorrect information. This was done in 1995.
Her voice was so good even then. The swag on it at THIRTEEN!!
Instead of teasing us, release it. I want to hear more
This is on repeat and looped!!! The intro is also giving my life 💜💜💜💜💜
After listening to this all over and over again I just realized all of this is Beyoncé

it was early-mid (or atleast before her birthday) in 1995. she turned 13 in 94, and he says “she just had turned 13” in the beginning
I can hear Letoya Luckett and Lativia Roberson too

I want that unreleased album from Elektra!
Yes...this song was recorded for their Elektra Records......Darrel Simmons sold some of the Masters to SONY in 1996
They were dealing with Dwayne Wiggins from Tony! Toni! Toné! around this time.

Did Kelly or Bey say “I can’t explain it” they sound soooo similar
Bey
Why is this song 3 hours long?
🥰
I know! LIMEWIRE HAS THIS LOL
The Tamia sample!
Tim & Bob produced the Tamia song so they took these lyrics and used them for Tamia's song which came out a few years later in 1998
@@UnbornSuperstar88 I’m so stupid, you’re right. This would’ve came first.
@@AdantePratt no worries lol
Sound like Monica a lil bit
