I've a genuine love for this company, fantastic staff and great attitude towards customers. I even named my first son Marshall, after Jim.

I will agree. I have had nothing but great experiences with Marshall Amplification. I think I’ll buy another one come tax time!

Marshall - the only company where you can buy something brand new that somehow has 50 years worth of memories attached. Thank you Jim, for a lifetime of great guitar sounds.

The only amp that can help me get the sounds in my head out. Saved my life.

I was 16 and went to Jim's little shop in Hanwell. He was always helpful and friendly.

Went from an Orange Crush 60 to a DSL40CR, Marshall makes the very best, the early days are so fascinating to learn about!

Can't even begin expressing how much respect I have for Dr. Jim Marshall. God bless his soul. He made it against all odds. If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and read the now well-known book "Father of Loud"

For the record Jim Marshall was a drummer who unleashed the iconic sounds of our guitar heroes past, present, and future. So Ironic....and they say the drummer in any band is the crazy one. Crazy Like a Fox. #JTMLegend

I watched the whole story, was good to watch , but wasn't totally accurate in places , the reason they changed components on the first Marshall was because the parts that fender used wasn't available in the uk at these times , this is the real reason why they were forced to change tubes and transformers and such, and albeit changing the flavour of the amp ..
Pete and the Who never used Marshall as extensively as he would have you believe , they didn't start with Marshall until the end of 64 where they used only Cabs , with a fender Bassman , wasn't till 66 when they started using the jtm45 , which they only used at particular venues , that was up to 68 .. after then they switched to Sound city 100's , and then later Hiwatt .. after which im sure they never used Marshall again .. from 68-69 onwards they use a mix of Hiwatt , and fender Vibro king & fender twin .. they actually used Mesa Boogie more than they did Marshall ..lol..
Not to, let the truth get in the way of a good story ..
