Doing anything lower than 37 on a single monitor is a PAIN in the ass. Would triples help with nailing that last sector ? I have a single monitor which you do.
Haha. I hear ya. Triples help see the apex at any hairpin like that. Having used a single screen for a few days after a few years of using triples, it's honestly not bad. Triples helps with the sense of speed, wheel to wheel, and those instances of deep apexes. I've got triples back up now but could definitely do the single screen, especially a very large ultrawide.
@@chrisstewarttv I can see how ultrawide is fine. But a normal flat 31.5 inch isn't that good. Try doing the Long Beach hairpin on that xD Practically impossible if u can't look to the side. But then again, i'm speculating because I haven't used triples.
Being a new track to me, I haven't even tried to tweak setups. I'm just using VRS which has 8.5 for the wing in the Z06. That's one click down from the highest, so I'd start with HDF Sprint and go from there.
I'll see you on track Tuesday night in GT Sprint, should be fun. ✌️😎
Very cool! Yes, looking forward to it.
GG man, I am William Karlsson4 😆 Good racing, fuji is really tricky with those kerbs 😂
Great race! It's weird when UA-cam recommends a video that you're in, isn't it? 😂
@@chrisstewarttv yep 😄
Chris, I've been running the zo6 too at Fuji and don't seem be able to get below 40, what the trick to make it into the the 30's

GT3 is at Fuji this week and those final few corners are as bad as it gets, I think. It would take some reps, that's for sure.
@@chrisstewarttv is low downforce the way to go ? Or medium ?

nice race
Thanks!
New to sim racing, Is the track layout put on after the race has been done or is that up for you while you race if so how?
It's a program called Racelabs. I don't see any of the overlays while I'm driving, they're captured in OBS as browser sources.
@@chrisstewarttvyou can have them on while you race if you change iracing to windowed fullscreen instead of fullscreen
For sure. I just prefer not to. I like the cleaner feel without overlays. I only use them for streaming/recording for UA-cam.
@@chrisstewarttv Yea fair enough that makes sense
