Great drive, racing Nords is hard enough but to do it clean and win is amazing work
SR hack. Just run a 3 or 6 hour enduro on the weekend. I gained 1.03 SR in about 2 hours of running.
All of a sudden it makes sense how guys with 3 and 4 SR make such risky moves in sprint races. They get down to 1 or 2 SR during the week then run a clean enduro and get it back up to cause more carnage during the week.
Maybe separate safety ratings for enduro and sprint type races

@@marc.charpentier need to run tons of laps on TT, get SR at 0.35 rate of a race
Watched it all the way through and caught every time you said you'd done a 2 minute something lap. Senior moments i think.

Great drive and deserved win! Masterclass in concentration, consistency and speed on one of the greatest tracks in the world. Started my iracing career this year and hopefully I'll get somewhere close to that one day. Well done mate.
Of course I watched till the end, I love the Nord and run anything that is there during the week. The Caddy is pretty fun around here as well this week.

From Carousel going to Hohe Acht. Highest point of the circuit. Then to Hedwigshohe. Then See Saw Man.
Then Eschbach. Then UA-cam corner called Brunnchen 1. Then Brunnchen 2 where the UA-cam camera is placed.

Dave I used to watch every single one of your uploads but hadn't caught one properly in months, just so happened I couldn't sleep tonight and I thought I'll have a scour through Dave's channel and find a race on a track I know and like. This was truly incredible. I don't think you realise how awe inspiring the precision is to an amateur like myself. The consistent lap times and working out the fuel etc, I'm happy if I get a clean lap never mind a fast one. It's so encouraging to see. I learned something as well, I'm usually very much throttle or brakes but I learned you coast through. Lot of corners at high speed, I'm going to experiment with this. Anyway sorry for the rambly comment man but it honestly felt like catching up with an old mate watching your video tonight. I absolutely love your content and all the attention to smaller details you include. You're A1 mate and wish you all the best. Cheers.

Your consistency is amazing, and when you do make a mistake it's usually for less than .2sec. Your smoothness is what I visualize when I'm trying to get faster.

Might I suggest putting a cup holder on your rig to hold an insulated cup with a straw. The straw helps you drink without having to tilt your head back. A straw is a MUST in VR, which is why I made the switch to a straw cup. Cheers!
Cracking race Dave! I do love this track. I love it even better if I can get around it without crashing 😊 I am pretty sure though that the lap that wasn't registered was the out lap from you re-fuelling as it showed as 8:4(something) as did the other cars on the relative. Could be wrong though. Well done on the A4.99 👍

It's a year later but the race is still a thriller, you walked away from him on the last lap, from 4 -14 second lead at the end. Nice one!

Great video Dave! Just one thing, with the corvette it´s better if you shift up when the second red light turns on, around 6700 rpm, that´s the sweet spot, anything past that you don´t have that much power. Keep it up!

Put your race on during work and watched it all because I'm in awe of people who can lap this so fast. So many corners, so many opportunities to make small errors. It's an endurance race for sure.
