i think a great addition to the park would be removing Car’s Road Trip which takes up around 10-11acres and replacing it with Cars Land which is also about 10-11acres it would definitely add much needed capacity to the park and seeing the major increase of guest attendance at DCA after Cars Land opened it could definitely cause the same boom at this park. also it would expand the whole kind of “pixar” area with a 4th land themed to pixar all right next to eachother but this is probably a stretch
I don’t think cars road trip takes up that much space, a lot of that is probably expansion plot anyway.

In the future, Cars Road Trip will be removed, as that land (and the backstage area next to it) will be used to build an Avatar land. Cars Land and Radiator Springs Racers will never come to Paris because of climate reasons.
I've been saying this for years now! It's such an obvious thing to do of course DLP doesn't do it. But if they did, remove the Cars flat ride from where now stands, demolish that animation sorcerer's hat building and build Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway there in the style of Disneyland Anaheim. That would fit right in with that part of the park with its theatres.

i feel like if they are going to change the name then they should commit to gutting the park of all the studios themed things like crush’s coaster being in a sound stage, the aladdin carpets being a movie set, the entrance being like a hollywood entrance but they arent going to do that so they shouldve just left it, the park will just feel a bit confused now

The term 'World ' indicates a large area with multiple choices as in WDW, they will need to add a lot more attractions! Also shouldn't it be Disney's Adventure World?

Im still not getting excited for that new park. Im not seeing that much more "adventure" than 2-3 rides, a new show and some new fassades. Maybe when its open it changes my mind but the last upgrades they did where very disappointing
The expansion's main job is to open up new plots for further expansion. If all goes right, we'll be hearing about the second land around the lake this year, I'm sure it'll make the park more appealing!

It needs to be easy to say in multiple European languages. The "of" sounds poetic in English but is superfluous to other languages.
Tbh I’m not that disappointed I’m just finally glad the studio is getting the love and attention it needs and it has been needing it for years. If the frozen land is a hit then we should expect many more things to come to Disneyland Paris and I’m hoping that will be a Star Wars land in the back of discovery land and also hyperspace mountain can go back to space mountain 😊
That's good to hear! I'm not disappointed with any of this. The name could be stronger, but a good name doesn't make a good park, a good park does!

Actually, I don't care too much about the name. Important for me is, they are finally doing something to improve the park and I am sure they know, Universal will be a huge concurrent. It all just takes a lot of money and I believe, that this is actually only the beginning. Once they have finished the works in the Studios, I could imagine, we get news about an expansion in the Disneyland Park. Maybe earlier...who knows. Exciting times! We will continue to go to DLP, to see all the changes in progress and then the final results. Can't wait to see all that! I'm not at all negative about what's going on! Many people wanted to see changes, improvements and as it happens, it is not enough, although not even finished yet. I like what I see and hear!

Name is ok. Feels like disney are still going cheap on the park. The studio entrance looks same on the one side, with more seating and a back drop on the other. As for the promenade area that looks fine and like the tangled ride however disney seem to want to add just shows to the park but hardly any rides. These shows then get pulled and then open back few months later rather than a ride which is permanent. From the announcement where they were spending billions in the parks reality is not one ride has been added just replacements so far. No rides added to the disneyland park since buzz lightyear. Imagine they done that in usa they be up in arms. I hope Universal comes to uk to shock disney in being more dynamic to the park.
Buzz wasnt even an addition at Disneyland Park, it replaced Le visionarium. Next year, it Will be 30 years since Disneyland Got a truly new ride. Space Mountain opened in 1995

And even Universal in the UK won’t be so terrifying to Disneyland Paris as outside British customers it will hardly pull a huge European crowd as since Brexit you will need to get ,on the top of the cost of travel , a passport and a visa to get to universal UK …. And for few hundreds euro more I will rather go to Orlando !!!

Disney should be embarrassed. Today’s “announcements” apart from the name were nothing we already knew. The show looks awful and cheap. Get rid of the outside theatre and expand Avengers Campus or better still put an Avengers show in there! We’ve had how many anniversaries with 0 attention given to the park that started the resort in 1992. It’s a shambles and completely unacceptable for a Disney Park to go this long with something new!! And the name of the new park is terrible and makes no sense to what the park is and will be🫠 They had a brilliant opportunity to start and again and they’ve totally messed up once again. So frustrating as it could be such a good park if done correctly
Most things weren't official. We knew about Studio 1, Theatre District, Rapunzel's ride and more because of rumours and leaks. I personally feel like the event was quite strong!
@@themainstreetnews I think mine and a lot of fan frustration is the main park keeps getting forgotten so much. The entertainment is fantastic in there. Especially for the 30th. Couldn’t fault it at all. It’s desperate for capacity and I just hope D23 will answer a lot of fan frustration😀

Since the Aladdin's Flying Carpets are going to stay where they are (with a brand new entrance) ... will that attraction be a land on itself? Because obviously it can't be part of Worlds of Pixar. And it seems to be a stretch to make it part of World Premiere Plaza. Weird and confusing!

I am just a little concerned whether this new name gets enough people interested enough in visiting the park. Especially people who have never been to Disney and don't even know that there is a second gate. The studio/movie name of the park has given the park a little more relevance to the Disney brand than a simple "adventure world".
Do you think so? I believe that someone that has never been to Disney will look at Disney Adventure World and think “that’s probably very good”. It’s a more broad name, but that could be a good thing too.

All beautiful photos, but we get very few new attractions in the park. so far only a new spiderman attraction. next year there will be a simple tangled attraction and a large lake with 1 frozen attraction. very disappointing so far.
I think a name like Disney Adventure Worlds Park would‘ve made more sense, since it consists of several different worlds inspired by different movies
Rapunzel Tangled Spin is just a rip-off of the Efteling's Sirocco.

Adventure world? So a hybrid between Disney California Adventure and Disney world. I am not sure if i like it. Feels a bit generic. I would have chosen a more french inspired name that sounds inviting.
It definitely feels quite generic, but so was Walt Disney Studios. We'll see how it translates in some time!
I don’t think they could have picked a more generic name if they tried… it sounds like a regional American park, so I guess they’re just being more honest then.
While lining "Adventure Way" (lame) with greenery will make a long walk somewhat pleasant, the greenery in World Premiere Plaza (not a Plaza) won't be able to hide everything they've ignored. Those ugly square light towers are still there in the concept art. There's no Art Deco added here. The buildings have just had their Soundstage numbers removed. The only parts that could be considered Art Deco were already here. The Stitch Live building will apparently be painted grey or silver. That doesn't make it suddenly Art Deco. It was already Art Deco. Now it'll be silver Art Deco, which is more Art Deco than yellow and green, but still. And none of these looks like a Broadway or West End theatre. They're trying to make excuses for lazily putting posters on the soundstages instead of spending money on actual details. Which is sad because the buildings in front of the Tower of Terror are lovely. They are what the rest of the land should look like. Instead, it'll look like a bunch of ugly buildings with more trees. And not enough trees, as Place des Stars (on the right) is still wide open and bare. As tacky as Studio 1 is, this area should've been the focus.
Maybe I'm a bit cynical, but what they're doing with World Premiere Plaza just shows their lack of vision, creativity and imagination. And the fact they're recycling the Stunt Show Stage, the Tram Tour and the Flying Carpets highlights even more that this entire rebranding is not as impressive as it could / should be.
@@user-ce4ml8rd7b Look at how much they're spending on Disney Village. It's clear what's important to Disney. Yes, Arendelle is undoubtedly pricey, but something this detailed makes World Premiere Plaza look even cheaper. It's ridiculous because to make them look like "Broadway Theatres" wouldn't take much. Broadway theatres are NYC buildings with a vertical sign with the theatre name on it and a marquee with the name of the show on it (see Disney's own El Capitan, which started as a live theatre). All they would have to do is add facades to each theater to make them look New Yorky and add the signage. They already have an El Capitan sign on those horrific buildings at the end of Hollywood Blvd! Which brings up why they are even referencing Broadway and the West End. The buildings that don't suck are CLEARLY Hollywood buildings. So turn this side of Studio 1 into the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Turn another into the El Capitan. There are three others? Round out Grauman's theaters with the Egyptian (currently inside Studio 1), add in the Pantages and Orpheum. Done. Heaven forbid they go the architecturally-interesting route and do the Roxie or Los Angeles or Tower Theaters. The Studio 1 money should've been spent here. Make this area impressive and people would forgive how tacky the indoor portion is.
I like it: the quality of the theming seen today is closer to the castle park than to the studio park.
I don't like; Port Aventura Wold already exists in Europe and now we will have Disney Aventure Wold...? In addition, the insistence of "aventura street" "aventura lake", forcing the imposition of an idea, which does not match either with the new aesthetic, more art decor, nor with the old one that persisted from the study, nor with 80% of the current and projected themes, Pixar and Disney classics, adventure, only Marvel and Tower.

In a sense, I guess you could say that Disney is trying its shot at creating a Islands of Adventure type park with Adventure being the leading factor, subtly transitioned through the theme of movies, while IoA originally used literature to do so. The name leaves a lot to be desired ... and personally not a fan of the redesign inside Studio 1, even though improvements were definitely needed. Time will tell what the actual result will look like and if it grows on me. In a way I could see them pull this concept off, if done right, especially with how IoA is also having its own identity shift, yet unfortunately I feel like these Worlds will not be timeless enough forever, especially within such an abstract theme of Adventure.
Islands of Adventure changed theme parks forever. It was a shift point that is still being very felt to this day. Even if the islands were supposedly themed around literature, it was the first park where everything was pretty much IP based lands (except one). Epic Universe will be the next level of this concept, where every land will be completely immersive. I agree with you, in that WDS will be Disney’s own attempt at an IoA theme park. Will it be successful? I believe so. As more time passes, more lands will be created around the central lake giving us more “worlds” to explore.
When you rename Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World while it has less and is smaller than the next door DisneyLAND Park.
Also, why Adventure World singular when it has multiple worlds, like Worlds of Pixar, which is already one land. Adventure Worlds would have been better (not that it is a good name to begin with).
I don´t like the name. Why "Adventure"? It´s very confusing, because there is adventure land in the other park. That´s a real "Adventure theme". But what does that have to do with this park? No adventure here, no pirates, no Indiana Jones, no Jungle... I would have preferred "Movie worlds" for example.

Agreed. Universal will bring a big shakeup, unfortunately, an Universal park in the UK wouldn't open until at least 2030, so that's still a long way off!
And universal park if they do the mistake of choosing the UK will need a passport to go there

I think Disney Paris Adventure would've tied it into Disney California Adventure, and it would make people shut up about that park not being about California. They could've renamed the Orlando Studios park to Disney Florida Adventure and try to erase the memory of Michael Eisner stealing from Universal.
I am very excited for the upcoming changes. I feel like Disney fans are critical by nature, but once it’s built and people can actually experience it, they will be happy.

As other comments mentioned here, it's a bit odd to have 'World' in any other park name than Walt Disney World. Otherwise I'd like to add that I loved the name you mentioned in a previous video, Cinemagic/Cinemagique (I apologise if I spelled the latter incorrectly). It would have been a beautiful way to include the park show.
Alas, they've decided for this and while my answer may be 'Eh...' now, I'd say it leans more towards liking it. I'm excited to see this being translated from concept to reality!
P.S.: I hope they keep the Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror theme for the specific ride. The way the cast members interact with visitors there is one of my favorites in the entire resort. The Tower of Terror was included in the announcement video luckily, which gives me good hope that it'll remain.

I think Walt Disney Studios should be renamed Walt’s World of Wonders or Walt Disney’s Adventure World. As the name Disney Adventure World hasn’t come into force yet there’s still time to rethink the name change.
I won't be surprised if it gets mistakenly referred to as, "Disney World Adventure", and people will think it has something to do with Disney World in Florida lol
Just to get the negatives out of the way. The new name is a bit rubbish, sounding like a budget UK amusement park as I have said elsewhere and as much as I love the lake, the promonade seems like a huge chunk of dead ROI for a park that has struggled all its life already. The average after whenever Frozen opens will be +1 ride over pre-Avengers Campus with a best case of two more when this other 'in planning' land arrives making the entire project (especially as i'm not an IP guy anyway) bar the lake negligible and as said before, the park will be much more of a patch work park than the studio theme ever was as outdated as some see it.
On a posistive note. After seeing the new concept for the studio 1 interior, I am more in favor of it as I was with previous artwork. The resturaunt and lake I have always liked anyway, although I don't understand why as i'm eating my food with the lovely lake view I need to be cautious of the princesses walking around as that is what the park next door is for. I am also more in favour of World premiere plaza after your description although I still don't get the point of having so little space for Hollywood, especially as adventure way will make the transition seem like the theming equivalent to a slap in the face.
Overall,
+1 for keeping Front lot
+1 for World Premiere and World Premiere Plaza
+1 For the Lake, Resturant and the two art nouveau tech buildings
+1 for frozen I suppose as we could have had nothing for the lake to exist for.
-1 for the new name (would accept a new name if it was better)

-1 for finally making me join the 'Turn it back into farmland' crew which is the equivalent of California's 'Better as a parking lot' crew.
I do think we'll get an announcement of the other themed lands around the lake at D23. As for the name, it's not bad nor do I love it. Cinemagic would've been better in my opinion.

Main Street News. As I've told you before, Euro Disneyland put foreward it's own ideas for the 2nd Disney park to Burbank. But as far as I know Eisner and the board never really looked at them. Finally Disney is putting in the investment that this new park needed from the begining. Plus a new name is a great way to start a whole new era. I was also interested to see an article in Forbes about Disney. Even though it now owns the whole park outright. It still charges Disneyland Paris royalties under the original agreement and as before Disney must be payed first before any taxes or other parties are payed. Over $160 million last year. Still nice to get a little sprinkle of "Pixie Dust" Disneyland Paris deserves it. Happy days. Cheers, Chris Perry.
Very true! Last year, Disneyland Paris made TWDC over half a billion euros! Crazy to think this was the resort that supposedly “crippled” the Walt Disney Company all those years ago…

Sounds too close to Disney World. Disney Paris Adventure makes an identifiable second gate, such as Disney Califoria Adventure next to Disneyland in California. I also think for branding Disney Hollywood Studious should be remaned Disney Florida Adventure...
I suspect Disneyland Paris will get quite a bit of love in this year’s D23 parks and resort panel. Seems Disney is finally firing on all cylinders again to compete again Universal across the entire world.

Disneyland in California is one step closer to expanding its theme park. Politics aside, they should’ve planned the expansion back in the 1980s so it can look ready 4 to 8 years before the Olympics.
Disney Adventure World should be the name of the third gate theme park for the Disneyland Paris Resort!
Each Disney park's name usually reflects the theme of that park:
Animal Kingdom = Animals
Hollywood Studios = Hollywood
California Adventure = California
Disneysea = The seas
What the !@#$ is supposed to be the theme of "Adventure World"?
The name kind of does match with most of the other lands in the Park. World of Pixar, World of Frozen, Adventure Bay. Even if Avatar comes, in Florida, they call it "Pandora: The World of Avatar". Maybe even "Pride Lands: The World of Lion King". The only one that could match under Adventure, other than Adventure Bay, is Avengers

I think Disney Adventure World is ok, nothing more nothing less. However ... all the other names ... what were they thinking?
1) Adventure Way & Adventure Bay ... should have been Adventure Avenue & Adventure Lagoon.
2) World Premiere Plaza ... is not really a plaza, is it? Hollywoodland seemed more appropriate. (But I do like World Premiere in stead of Studio 1).
3) Rapunzel Tangled Spin ... right around the corner of Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin. My choice: Rapunzel Tangled Twisters.
4) The Regal View ... can it be more generic? Since it has princesses in it, why not The Boardwalk Palace or The Princess Palace?
But what can you expect from the people who changed ...
Blue Lagoon, Pocahontas Indian Village, The Chaparral Theater and Cinemagique Theater
into Captain Jack's, Frontierland Playground, Frontierland Theater and Studio Theater.

I like the name and all the updates. My issue though is what’s the real theme of this park? Examples, Disneyland: step into the worlds of yesterday tomorrow and fantasy. Epcot: permanent world’s fair. California adventure: a Disney love letter to the state of California. Disney adventure park: walk through studios into worlds of adventure while going through art Nuevo areas? Just seems off, but hoping for more at D23
I try to showcase the storyline a bit in the video. The main point of the park is for you to explore the worlds from your favourite movies. It starts with Hollywood and the moment you step into the park, you can "adventure" your way through many of these worlds!
When you explain it like that I’m oddly now all the in! lol. Am curious to see the new entrance and how the new signage will look where it used to say “Walt Disney studios.” Keep up the good work and can’t wait for future expansions at the resort to be announced

I was planning to visit the parks on the summer of 2025, now I don't know if I should wait until 2026.
There are still no opening dates for Frozen, Adventure Way and Adventure Bay (lake area). If you want to be sure, I'd plan for 2026.
This feels like a desperate attempt to generate excitement around their European parks now it’s looking increasingly likely that Universal Studios England is going to go ahead.
Whilst the changes are exciting, the name is a bit fine. Like you spent hours of work and thats the best you came up with. Well I guess you have to be simple now for a more simple minded audiences.

Ever since disney jealousely started copying universal after their harry potter success they have completely lost their way and the original ethos of walt and his imagineers.
Right now I am more exited about universal uk then anything disney is doing sadly.

I hope that this is the start of WDSP (or Disney Adventure World, will need time to get used to that new name) to be transformed, because it can't hold a candle to the other Disney parks. I visited the parks last year, and when we got to the Disneyland Hotel and the gardens, before we were even in Disneyland Park, we were already in awe. We entered Studios Park and were just like, "Oh, well, we're in." I hope World Premiere will help change many visitor's first impressions of Studios Park (even though the giant soundstages *coughs* ugly shoeboxes *coughs* are still there!)
Indeed. All things considered, this was a very solid anniversary event! If things go as planned, D23 will be very nice!
I personally don't expect anything DLP related at D23. They're always very US focussed and if they talk about overseas parks it's the Asian ones.
