Keep hand relaxed. The way my teacher taught me is to squeeze your bow hand really hard, relax it, then wiggle the bow back and forth to make sure you have a relaxed hand. I am a Viola player but bow technique is pretty universal.
I play violin, but bow techniques are always the same tbh. I BARELY hold onto my bow. The more relaxed I am with it, the faster I can move and the easier the flow is for me.
