I have to admit I’ve never been a huge fan of theirs but I have enjoyed these new songs. I especially liked that previous one. Maybe I need to check again some of their older stuff as well.
Love your smile on that last Hansi's scream, I had pretty much the same reaction, he's soo special. Love this track, love all the new singles, can't wait for the album. And yes, the Witcher is the inspo for this one. Also, I'm so angry at Jon for being such an idiot bc a) I hate when people are being idiots in general and b) we won't get another D&W album. Every time I listen to their Wacken 2019 performance (and I often do), I hate it when Hansi talks about D&W returning to Wacken soon bc they're now obviously not.
I love it! This might be my favorite off the new album - they are all great though. To me, this sounds unique (new and fresh) but still manages to scream "Blind Guardian" in every note. That's the perfect combination to keep this fan happy. One of my favorite things about this track is how aggressive Hansi's vocals sound. It's perfect for the super heavy & fast instrumentals
I really like how they went old school on this. You can almost see teenage versions of them grooving to Iron Maiden. I always consider videos secondary, sometimes a necessary evil. Then again I'm preMtv. That having been said I think they did an early 80s style performance vid for an early 80s sounding song. Great reaction!
I mean the dude is crazy lol but he also wrote some of my favorite albums...Night of the Stormrider and Burnt Offerings. Funny story i remember when he formed Sons of Liberty and i saw him live in concert with Iced Earth. He started talking conspiracy theories during Sons of Liberties performance. I vivdly remember all of us Booing and telling him to STFU and play music lol.
This Song is great and the Lyrics too. Hansis voice is so good better than Bruce Dickinson today. Sound like Oldschool Blind Guardian with better Production.
I think blind guardian' songs dont hit the same if you're not a little nerdy, like, you can hear NITME but it hits you different when you're connected to the source material

BTW - definitely see them in concert if you can. Funny you mentioned Grave Digger - they opened for BG when I saw them a few years ago.

There most likely will not be any new material from Demons and Wizards. After Jon Schaffer was spotted storming the capitol, Hansi ended this coop.
