Beautiful colours. The white looks so pretty on the black background. I only recently discovered Marabu inks, they are stunning and so vibrant. I ended up buying more colours. Only downside is that they have a very strong smell. I hope the new colours will make it to the UK soon. Thanks for sharing. Your resin pieces look amazing.

Sad news (for me): Marabu has it´s home actually just in my neighbour town. But the main market for alcohol inks seems to be north America and so we get everything a year later - if at all. To this day I can buy here in Germany only 22 'colours' (including extender!). No white at all, let alone deep white. :(

Myriam, so glad you're back, missed your videos, and I hope you're doing well. Talking about the Marabu alcohol inks, I had this problem before and from what I gathered I'm not the only one. I can't pierce through the top without damaging the bottle. I mean I don't have good strength with my hands and can't push the pin straight down, most of the time it comes through the side and then I can't use it anymore. I realized cutting off the top using scissors it's not a solution either. Do you have any advice how else to break that top, it's pretty hard plastic. As i said I realized from other posts I'm not the only one with this problem. But so far haven't found a solution. Would appreciate your input. Looking forward to more videos, hearing your voice is really fresh air in these difficult times. Thank you ❤️

You can put a spray varnish over to protect from scratches. Most alcohol inks are not very lightfast, so might fade quickly. You can get uv protective varnish though. Maybe try it out before doing a permanent installation

Hi Myrium. I just found your channel and you totally inspired me to try alcohol inks on ceramic tiles. I already had some less expensive inks from another project but I also bought a few ranger colors. I am having a very difficult time because my ink isn’t adhering to the ceramic. Even if I let it dry for a count of days it wipes off pretty easily, not uniformly, and it doesn’t appear to be any different no matter which brand I use. I don’t have any real blending solution. I have just been using 91 or 99% Alcohol. Have you ever had this issue? Maybe it’s normal? I’m thinking not, though.

Beautiful colours. The white looks so pretty on the black background. I only recently discovered Marabu inks, they are stunning and so vibrant. I ended up buying more colours. Only downside is that they have a very strong smell. I hope the new colours will make it to the UK soon. Thanks for sharing. Your resin pieces look amazing.

Sad news (for me): Marabu has it´s home actually just in my neighbour town. But the main market for alcohol inks seems to be north America and so we get everything a year later - if at all. To this day I can buy here in Germany only 22 'colours' (including extender!). No white at all, let alone deep white. :(

Myriam, so glad you're back, missed your videos, and I hope you're doing well. Talking about the Marabu alcohol inks, I had this problem before and from what I gathered I'm not the only one. I can't pierce through the top without damaging the bottle. I mean I don't have good strength with my hands and can't push the pin straight down, most of the time it comes through the side and then I can't use it anymore. I realized cutting off the top using scissors it's not a solution either. Do you have any advice how else to break that top, it's pretty hard plastic. As i said I realized from other posts I'm not the only one with this problem. But so far haven't found a solution. Would appreciate your input. Looking forward to more videos, hearing your voice is really fresh air in these difficult times. Thank you ❤️

I hope all is well with you sweetie! These are soooo yummy!! I'm a purple person so the aubergine 🍆 made my lil heart go pitty pat! That Terra Cotta was fabulous too. My favorite metallic is copper I'm not big on red typically, but I love that more muted red. I adore everything that glitters & shimmers, but wasn't as big a fan of the metallic colors surprisingly. I need to completely restock my Alc inks, so I'd like to ask you a ? If I might. I know you've tried them all. Are the Marabu typically as pigmented as the pinata? You can put a spray varnish over to protect from scratches. Most alcohol inks are not very lightfast, so might fade quickly.
You can get uv protective varnish though.
Maybe try it out before doing a permanent installation

Hi Myrium. I just found your channel and you totally inspired me to try alcohol inks on ceramic tiles. I already had some less expensive inks from another project but I also bought a few ranger colors. I am having a very difficult time because my ink isn’t adhering to the ceramic. Even if I let it dry for a count of days it wipes off pretty easily, not uniformly, and it doesn’t appear to be any different no matter which brand I use. I don’t have any real blending solution. I have just been using 91 or 99% Alcohol. Have you ever had this issue? Maybe it’s normal? I’m thinking not, though.

Do these inks tend to fade in resin over time or do they stay vibrant?
