  • More often than not, patients don't get great lab reviews from their providers. "Everything looks fine" is a standard assessment. Well, what does that mean? We will look at routinely covered labs this February, starting with the CBC (Complete Blood Count). This test helps screen generalized concerns like headache or fatigue. Learn more about the markers and putting context to the numbers.

Great video!! I have been trying to find a video that broke down what exactly they are looking at.Seems like it is hard to find resources to help people become their best health advocate

I'm glad this video was helpful!🙏🤙 Was there anything missing that you'd like to see in future videos? (*without giving overt medical advice)

Wow great video! I just got a blood test done last week, coincidentally. Gonna have to look into my RDW which is also low normal. Doctor didn’t even mention it

Thank you for the kind words. And, be sure to ask your provider for an explanation. I'm sure they can tell you why they were not concerned with telling you. (Remember, each of these metrics is looked at in the context of the other CBC metrics (and even other "non-CBC" tests' e.g., Ferritin).)
      Thanks for watching!
