Hobart Mixer H600 water issue on transmission!!!!

Hi everyone I made this video as a suggestion for everyone who is planning to leave your hobart mixer outside especially under rain this video was made with the purpose of educating the pizzeria and bakery and restaurant industry what not to do, also there is a recommendation for those restaurants that grind with a meat grinder attachment, vegetables or products that also contain water pay attention to this recommendations last minute of video contains pictures of an actual transmission that got contaminated with food explicitly garbanzo beans cilantro and onions, check the video....

to be honest the shifter has no adjustment the issue must be something else, very rare for shifter to go bad

I need your help I have Hobart mixer D340 40 quart I take transmission gear out I’clean up and change oil then I put it back Speed 2 working the speed 3 working and the first gear not working can you help me why thank you

I know am replying 2 years late but is important to share my answer
A120,A200,D300,D330 and D340 classic models the transmissions of this particular mixers use grease
A lot people get confused specially with d300,d330 d340 when they open the transmissions they find oil making a conclusion that it’s oil but that’s not the case
What had happened is that this mixer probably hasn’t been service in years causing the original grease to loose it’s consistency with all those years with out service oil literally becomes oily, it’s a mistake if you refill it with oil as there is nothing that will pump that oil to upper gears eventually upper gears will suffer the consequences because they will not get lubricated

I need to replace some part in Hobart H600T could you please help me. I own a Pizza our Hobart gear number 4 will not run machine is running but mixer arm not moving. Also I need to replace the gear which runs the attachment. Please let me know If I could call you . I also emailed you.

In regards of your question, if 3 speeds are working and #4 is not, more likely a gear key is broken on #4 a inspection on the transmission is needed it..

Pero si el square drive se puede reemplazar sin necesidad de desarmar la máquina
Tiene un tornillo especial en el square que desenrosca a la derecha y enrosca a la izquierda no como un estándar enroscado I si tienes suerte el square solo deslizaria hacia afuera pero sino sale se necesita erramienta especial para extraerlo
