Like the video but I am amazed your tyres on all 4 vehicles are so hard still. Hardley any squish shown in the tyres in any footage. The Canning Dunes are easy with the right tyre pressure with no wheel spin and a relaxed slow cruise over them. We traversed with 12PSI front 15PSI rear, heavily laden solo 15 days with not altering tyre pressures, not one puncture. Keep up the good work.
Again, I'm throwing this out there - Being a (more than) middle aged man seeing you 'kids' do everything you're doing - It inspires me - Thank You - Much Love From New England U.S.
Really enjoying your filming and content. Reminding me of why in 30 years of travels it has been my absolute favorite trip ever and how keen I am to do it again. Breakdowns and issues on the Canning are stressful. Thanks for your efforts to share this beautiful area. Cheers
Nice work, great music through production. I was very surprsised how the big nps struggled on the dunes, they are a real offroad beast usually, interested in what they weighed, we are ^6tonne. Again nice production, I enjoyed.
Really love your photography and production. Really is inspiring for travelling outback. Keep up the great work and I hope your channel continues to grow so you keep doing this. 😀
03:05 nice to see a sand flag affixed to the driver's side. If you're serious, the sand flag is affixed to the canopy or roof, driver's side, forward (up high). Then we can possibly avoid the idiots with no sand flag, or it's mounted on the rear step, with a pencil sized length. UHF is a help, but the number of vehicles without UHF or sand flags just kills me.
Does the truck have original front suspension? We have a stock 97 NPS 300 and the front springs seem to be overbuilt if anything they give a hard and bouncy ride but seem very strong. Would not want to do the Canning in it rather take a car size 4wd. Like the scenery wish we were there good luck with the truck.
I did the Canning in 2010, heading South to North, and we passed a guy heading south in a toyota Corolla, so my educated guess is yes, a 4x4 truck can do it.
I was watching this with my mum and she said the Canning is beautiful. She wishes she could do a road trip like you guys, too. Thank you for showing us the Canning, I love your storytelling and journey of the Canning. Funny but serious and curious questions, how do u guys go to the toilet and get water? I saw that u guys washed the clothes, too
The usual process is to 'take the shovel for a walk'. Potable water is available at some of the restored wells. These restored wells are marked on the better maps.
Great effort guys, but the big question here re the truck is what tyre pressures are you down to ? In many of the scenes I have seen, there is bugger all belling at the tread face.......Correct tyre pressures are your friends in "watery sand", but a big villian if too hard....
They are but can't send it when it's broken need to take it easy and the suspension when turning these in to tourers needs to be parabolic suspension not standard as it won't last
@@LVNITUPM8hey mate, the truck does have a full parabolic upgrade with kings racing remote res shocks. At the end of the day as a 4WD they are no where near as capable as a Land Cruiser despite what people say 😅
@@OverlandTravellers could be a form of parabolic suspension but definitely not what I was talking about from AAV it would have dual layer springs With a block in the middle.

I think you guys are setting a whole new benchmark when it comes to production and footage. Love it.

Fabulous images folks. The drone shots were fantastic, professional. I greatly enjoyed it. Well done.
Another epic high quality video Matt and Holly. Incredible
Glad you enjoyed it

Cheers mate we are already keen to do it again
Epic moon-set/sunrise imagery, so well done 👍
Thank you it was great fun filming that scene. I got up before sunrise specially to capture both moon set and sunrise

Yeah I agree everyone needs a UHF. Only issue with having it higher is the scrub is so thick I think it would just be ripped off pretty quick
This series is magical. Keen for the next one!
Thanks mate!
The drone shots are epic!!! 11/10!

It has upgraded parabolics and it’s remote res shocks.
Stunning scenery - what beauty !
It really is!
Good Day Mates 😊Beautiful sun rise , drone footage 👏🏼 Epic and educational episode 😊 Greetings and cheers 🍻 Legends From South Africa 🇿🇦
Spectacular footage to start the Ep again ❤
Thank you!
Top video, and great talking to you guys in Alice Springs. Genuine, friendly people, just like in the video. Cheers 🍺 from the white Patrol
Thanks mate and thank you for saying hello :)
Well done on the bush fix. 👍
Fantastic episode, absolutely loving this trip
Cheers mate
Lovely Ep Guys

@robkeith1776 Thanks for the info. I am really appreciated..For foodwise I think, is to pack 3 weeks' worth of food?
3 weeks will be a good amount :)
@@OverlandTravellers A lot of parking and planning needed for those 3 weeks 😁
Great video! One day I will get there.
very beautiful work agin guys

It goes great in the wind mate, no issues.
did you ever think to lay Maxtrax at pinch points at the tops of the dunes to help the truck up and over before it got stuck/bogged/lost traction
Yes that was my first suggestion.
Just seemed like a while too long till that suggestion surfaced@@OverlandTravellers
@@michaelcook5233 it was my first suggestion, but Michael didn’t want to use them.
@@effkay3691 I did
Looks like fun
What are the date of this video
Im due to start the CSR on the 15th Aug
We did it around 2 months ago
Great clip how many of the wells were you able to drink the water from ?
Hey Gary. Honestly not many but enough that we never had to worry about water
Thought the Isuzus were more capable. Good looking rig but just a big slug. Then you got the breakages.
They are but can't send it when it's broken need to take it easy and the suspension when turning these in to tourers needs to be parabolic suspension not standard as it won't last

@@LVNITUPM8 yeah mate, apparently he has the parabolics from ATW. Exactly what you’re describing.
@@OverlandTravellers hmm ok, they look bit different than what I have on mine, could be that he got his from ATW and mine are from AAV
Doesn't sound like the Isuzu has been properly maintained. As it seems to be 1 problem after another.
Trucks aren't permitted on the Canning as far as I understand it? Clearly, I'm incorrect!
