Hard to be creative on the 2600 beyond simple space shooters and run-and-guns, but this did it. I always advocate showing the fail state in videos like this, but few more than this one. Having Frankenstein's monster come to life is one of the Atari's most epic moments.
I remember thinking about it, but ended up not doing it because my priority is gameplay. However i shall keep an eye out for future game-over screens that look somewhat cool. (I rewrote this comment it was accidentally deleted)
