Those are some really damned good rabbit sprites for 2600-era.

Neat little game. Having the trees in the foreground gives a nice effect. I think I would have made the bandits run off when the player hit them, leaving a little bag of gold to pick up. Lethal attacks are not usually part of Robin Hood stories.

I don't recall this game at all. You can tell it was a Xonox game though. Very similar style to other games from this developer. I don't think they had a lot of programmers. Thanks for posting! Always love to see some old school gaming.

It's a good game but I think the lightning is very intense so I close my eyes a little bit while playing

That guardian fight is so hard damageless, is it random or did you manipulate his movement?

I used to play this for hours on end. The stress you would get when that thing would start coming for you from outside the room. Frankly, I would love to see an updated remake or sequel to this game.

Wow, I forgot about this game. Used to play it all the time when I was a kid. Used to get so frustrated with it as thought I had the speed of the shot set up just right and be totally off. And just like at 3:05, you would slowly strike a ball and it would bounce off faster than it struck the ball.

I had this one as a kid back in the day. I played it quite a bit, but haven't since. Still have it complete in box. Will have to revisit.

Wasn't this a cassette based game? My recall from that time isn't perfect. 3D effect is similar to that of the ROM enhanced CBS Electronics 2600 cartridge game, "Tunnel Runner". I initially thought this was one of the Starpath Supercharger titles. Guess I'm wrong.

All the sports games today and the entire video game industry owe their existence to what Atari did in the late 1970s and early 1980s. This tennis game is a testament to that. This is 1981. Remarkable what they were able to do at the dawn of the video game industry...

we'd stare at the screen for hours, never noticing the game detail fell a bit short compared to reality. Reality is too well-defined anyway, and also too slow and also it frowns upon aerial tactical assault when rational, calm bribery will do.
