At this time the fs-1-wl is not working with iPad as of 17 December 23.
Yeah HID commands, like the little graphics are emulating keystrokes, so any key command on a device can be sent in that mode.
I read up on it after this. Haha, just felt a casual unboxing and ipad sync up was fun to do. A proper full spec vid will follow in a bit, but for guys doing my kinda work it's ideal 🤟
