You have really upgraded that rig to truly be full-time friendly AND kept it stylish and homey. I know the wait was long and hard, but it was definitely worth it! Your rig is BEAUTIFUL!
This is literally, LITERALLY, the best walkthrough of a luxury trailer I have ever seen. Most of the time they just scan and talk, but the way you described where things use to be as you are going through, I can really get a feel for the space. Like, I could draw your interior just from watching it once. I like watching videos of all the things I will never own. That thing is beautiful. Good job on all the mods and changes. Also I agree about the oven. They are like bathtubs, useless.
If you are looking for low cost RV living.. not sure why you are watching something like this. It's pretty clear from the thumbnail with a semi pulling this it's not low cost.
@@spencerellis5640 Why are getting all bent out of shape? I'm watching out of curiosity and I'm not looking for low cost tiny living at all. I think people are foolish for selling all their belongings or taking out 20 years loans so they can cram themselves in a rv full time. Not my thing, but if that's your thing...
Average home price near me in WA is 750-800k for something decent. You can get a 2 or 3br house where gunshots outside are common for around 400-450k and a not so good school.
Beautiful rig. We've had 6 motorhomes and our last rv was a 45' Teton 5th wheel. We ordered it new from the factory. Had them add in all of things we knew we wanted as a result of all our years with motorhomes. Our rig was about as comfortable as anyone could ever hope for. Had it for 7 years. We enjoyed all of our coaches over the years. Your rig and tractor are really exceptional. Well thought out. Exterior is as good as they come! Can't post pictures here so i can't show you ours. We've since sold it and have retired from rv'ing. We treasure those years and are so glad we took those steps back in 1986. Hope you enjoy as many happy years as we did!
Really liking the Mods. Especially moving the refrigerator, adding the windows, appliance garage, and coffee bar. Makes the living area so open and bright. Our LX455 is supposed to be on the line now. Patience may be a virtue but it sure is tough....LoL I guess I still got lots to do here to get done before we go fulltime.
After seeing it in person, I saw more things I liked in the video. You folks did a GREAT job of planning and laying out a fantastic trailer! Way to go!
just ordered that exact cooktop, didn't even know they made such a thing. Glad you got yours, now I'll get mine and will save my husband a crap ton of aggravation trying to install separate units side by side. We have an older fifth wheel, and we can use stove, sink, fridge, bathroom, bedroom and media center with all slides closed..only thing we can't use is our computer desks as they are across the back and we have opposing slides. Our alfa is 40' triaxle, 3 slides and watching all of you on youtube is what made our choices easier.
WOW WOW WOW I LOVE Your absolutely gorgeous home! Unbelievable! The colors inside are my favorite! It's so bright, and just stunning, So smart the upgrades! I love your everything! Lol the sink, the chairs, the Xtra cupboards, the lighting, oh my! You guys are so lucky to have such a beautiful home! Thank You so much for sharing
Oh my gosh Jim and Kelly! I love it. I loved when I saw just saw the kitchen when it wasn’t done yet. I love it more now. The whole thing is beautiful. I’m so glad you are happy as well. You have a lot of storage. That’s so cool! I love it. I love your colors inside and out. I love the white wood with the dark it’s beautiful. I love your theater seats with the Otto man. I love the patio and coffee bar and the cabinet with your water filter. Love how you can put the slide out and you still watch tv. Love the garage and bathroom. I heard those strips work to stick anything on. Frames and all. Love your bedroom. Everything is so nice. Great job Alicia! 👍 Thank you so much for you both showing off your new home. See you next week! Love you both! 🤗😘
New to your channel, but what a fantastic review and transformation of your coach. We are definitely buying a toy hauler/garage over the next 12 months, as we can both work remotely now. The chairs look amazing and a lot of thought went into the design and purpose of your rig. You now have me looking at the Norwegian chairs and also trying to figure out what the heck acrylic awnings are! We loved the redesign for a number of reasons that you guys nailed and we completely agree with it. 1. Single large sink. 2. Eliminating the oven. 3. Whole house type fan. 4. Eliminating unusable side love seats. 5. Cabinets in the garage. Hope to see you on the road someday from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
You guys have done your research and it sounds like you have a plan. We appreciate you coming along and welcome to our community! We have an awesome group here that we really appreciate.
We eat our meals either outside, at our computer desks or we have trays for the living area. In all our RVs we've discovered that an eating area is a clutter collector that takes up valuable space so we decided not to have one in this rig.
Wow! What an amazing rig! I truly wish one day I'm able to get motorhome of some sorts so I can quit living in fear every month wondering if I'm gonna have a roof over me and my son's head. I'm on disability, and that doesn't go far at all. Shoot, most of the time I'm doing without just to pay the rent. I dream of living an RV lifestyle! You have done a fantastic job on your rig! It's gorgeous!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
P.S. to get rid of the flashing and horizontal dark lines that are present within the interior lighted portions of the video, set your video frame capture rate to 24 frames per second and a shutter speed of 1/48th of a second. You do need to MOVE YOURSELF AND THE CAMERA SLOWER and ZOOM SLOWER when you do so but the CURRENT 60 hz flashing of the lighting versus the 59.97 HZ of the video capture rate and fast 1/60th second shutter rate will be gone. In some cameras there IS an option to synchronize the shutter speed to current LED lighting refresh which is one other possibility to get rid of those horizontal banding lines we are seeing on this video (especially at the 18:35 mark). Not all cameras have that so read the instruction manual OTHERWISE you just set video recording to 24 fps at 1/48th of a second shutter speed and move yourself and the camera much slower while you are recording and moving about inside and outside! (i.e. do slower pans, slower tilts and slower zooms!) v
Very nice mods you added ! Up in the bedroom the white really brightens it up ! Nice job between yall and Alicia. Definitely worth the wait. Congrats !
This is AWESOME !!!!!! What a GREAT DESIGN !!! Now I know what to build out to! and YES you really don't need the dining table as you can do a portable table and some folding chairs in the garage or deck as your family dinette and when guests come over. The ONLY THING needed is that you should get a great seamstress to sew you a floor to ceiling wrap-around double-walled INSULATED skirt (i.e. use THICK rip-stop nylon as the inner and outer layer walls and use 3M Thinsulate as the insulating layer) that you can zip and unzip during cold or warm days around the ENTIRE deck. With some double-paned removeable acrylic or polycarbonate windows built-in, you could make the deck into a full blown living room that is shaded AND you can also use it as an extended guest bedroom when the kids and grandkids come along for a trip! My guess is around $2500 for the custom skirt if you get some seamstress bids going. The windows can be a removable solid acrylic or polycarbonate pane OR you can just have mosquito netting within a unzippable solid or clear flexible plastic over-panel. Your choice on that! v
Thanks so much for doing the walk through! We wanted to see the inside when we were all in Caldwell but ran out of time. Such a great rig. I like that even with the slide in you can still go out the garage side door and then back inside the regular door if you want to access the bedroom and bath. Perfect for those occasional rest area and walmart overnights if you have too. I agree the white with accents really opens it up and makes it brighter. I have not been a fan of the darker woods that so much of the industry has been using for far too long. Most likely the reason we kept our Class A for some many years. It came with maple blonde cabinets and thin cut corian countertops. We loved it. Safe travels you two. - Paul, Julie and Miss Lydia.
just ran out of time. so many folks to visit with and we were having such a great time, it just got away from us. We will catch up soon. Be careful traveling. I absolutely love that you guys completely customized it to your liking, most people don’t and they start to all look the same and yours it’s just beautiful. I agree with a lot of things y’all had pros and cons about and it just got better when you started naming my favorite brands like Norwex ans Beddys! I hope one day I can get a big rig like y’all’s!
Very Nice. I have an LX455. We love ours. You have given me some ideas. We've been full-timers now for two years. Loving every minute of it. No regrets. Thanks for the post. Press on!
Lovely, lovely, I actually seen a couple traveling I-75 SB with the same truck, car, & 5th wheel hookup just last week. Not sure if it was you all. But I really thinks that is so cool.
Thanks Annie....it could have been us. We've been in the Orlando area for about 3 weeks and now on our way to Tampa. Thanks for coming along and have a blessed week!
Part of the mods were done at the factory and the rest was done at our dealership. We believe that 95% of the process is having a dealer willing to work with you!
Beautiful home. So happy you are loving it. You remind me of my grandmother the way you talk and your mannerisms. Thank you so much for being you. I miss her and you brought her to mind. She passed in 1980.
Hi Jim and Kellie! My husband and I met you both at the Hershey RV Show with about a thousand others. Lol. We purchased a 2022 DRV FULL HOUSE with a 12ft garage. We should be picking it up in about a month or so and are so excited!! You have helped us tremendously by answering our questions as a DRV full house owner yourselves. We just wanted to take a moment to “Thank You” for your honesty. We follow your U Tube videos which are very informative and fun to watch. Travel safely and we hope to meet up with you at some point and time. Chris and Erika Reynik
Thanks so much for the kind words C&E. We really appreciate you taking the time to correspond. The LX is a beautiful rig and we hope you have many years of memories with it. Hopefully we'll be able to cross paths on the road.
Wow !!!! Nice but a couple in love and good together can live in a palace or a cave and be happy!!! U guys look good together stay blessed and have long and happy life together!!!!
Now that's the ticket,Lv the size and all the features you two put into this special home 45 ft is the way to go,Knowing you are full timers I enve the life style and all you put into your setup, It's alot over my budget but thks for sharing all you know about 5th wheel deluxe living, Truley appreciate what youve done, I'm twenty years past my prime but admire what you've done. Thks again great video.
Thanks for the kind words John! We wanted to get out on the road and see this great country of ours before we got too old....so here we are! It's not for everyone but we certainly enjoy it. Thanks for coming along and have a great weekend!
Gorgeous! I was wondering why you chose not to have a washer/dryer. We are full timing and stressed about getting a bigger rig to include them. We chose the rig with a stackable washer/dryer and I’m so glad we did. Finding laundromats and saving everything to be done at once was too much for us - all that dragging stuff in and out of the car and the laundromats are not always in the best part of town. Now I just run a load whenever I need/want to.
A laundromat is just our style bkmy....we boondock a lot and don't have the gray water capacity to make it work while boondocking, so we just decided that we didn't need the extra weight and choose this way. Have a great week!
Thats a nice rig and I fully agree with you about STRESSLESS chairs & foot stools, At home we were at the point of the Sofa going hard to sit in after only five years old & 3000GBP so everybody I spoke to said try STRESSLESS , so we shopped around for prices (they are not cheap) we ended up with three chairs & pitched the sofa out also it ended up a similar price for three against one new sofa. My wifes only complaint is she cannot lie down to watch tv, but in actual fact these things recline nearly flat I find im always nodding off in them .
That is an awesome coach! I’m not a fan of white cabinets, BUT those colors really work well together and look awesome! Moving the fridge out of the corner makes the slide out seem a lot bigger and definitely opens the room up! We are looking forward to seeing you all again in AZ!! Safe travels!
You guys sure put alot of thought i to what you wanted! It is a well planned coach that meets all your needs. It is amazing how after you have spent enough time in a trailer how you start to dream of the "ultimate" one... i think you guys should be very proud of this unit because i think you hit it out of the park!
When I retire and the kids are grown, I am going for this setup! Can't wait! I would add the full 4-season winterization package for Northern Canada travels (i.e. do some winter ice fishing and ski-doo touring up north) and put in larger and higher-pressure propane tanks and insulated water tanks but for the most part your designs and upgrades are IDEAL! GREAT JOB! v
Sandra Westley from the UK just seen your shower and shampoo dispenser, and I have just purchase the exact same one, hoping I could use Command Strips, my husband thought it would be too heavy but, as soon as I saw yours I realised it’s identical and it’s still up. 😂😂 thanks for showing us that.
My parents have a fancy DVR Mobile Suites, they travel around the country often. I have shared a couple of your videos with my dad. My husband and I look forward to RVing one day as well. Safe and happy travels!
Beautiful Rig. I know y’all are happy with it and I’m so happy for you. I like all the upgrades so that everything works for you that makes life easier. Great video always look forward to seeing y’all. Stay safe and God bless.
Your DRV design is awesome. You added things that should have already been installed. Enjoy it. Rolling Retreats did a great job helping with the design and extra work.
You have created a beautiful home. You mentioned that you are still trying to figure out where to put everything and at 10:40 when you show the refrigerator and the coffee bar area it would make sense to move your mugs and cups you use for your coffee to the cabinet above or below the coffee bar instead of having them in the cabinet at the end of the island above the accent shelf. That way you have everything needed to make your coffee or whatever hot beverage you want all in one place except for the water. As you spend more time in your RV you will definitely change things up and organize them to better suit your needs and what you use most. I see that you use a larger truck to haul it, have you experienced any issues at the various types of camping locations and parks especially in National parks ?
Beautiful coach. Old motorcycle leg injuries from 40 years ago have put a roadblock in from Sheila being able to easily climb up into an HDT. Changing the fuel tank steps from two to four still isn't the answer, so the jury is still out if we will go that way or not. We saw some great toterhome designs with regular RV access doors on the side, but they can be quite long in total length, so we are still studying the situation.
This is a beautiful Home on wheels. I want to get one that's exactly like yours. Might try and reach out to you and discuss the dealer you used to handle everything. Awesome Home
So, the 2023 models are just introduced, and we are looking at the Orlando which seems to have the same living/kitchen layout as the MX450. The question I have is, do you feel at all boxed in without campside Windows? Or is that alleviated by having the toy hauler, which is really like having a sunroom? We are now weighing the option between the Orlando model and a Full house. TIA -John
That's a tough question John. We don't mind the lack of camp side windows...maybe because we boondock so much and it doesn't really matter because we don't have neighbors most of the time. We haven't seen the new Orlando yet either....hoping to get a glimpse this winter.
@@SuiteTravels We are going to meet up with Mike at Rolling Retreats next weekend, ahead of the National Rally. We will at least get the ball rolling, likely meet with Mike again at the Rally.

Love your rig! Don’t know how I ended up here, but it definitely made me homesick for our RVing days. Last time we were out we were in Quartzite, AZ it was Jan 2013. Thanks for sharing your mods, you both seem like you would be lovely camping neighbors. Safe travels!

Great looking home. Appears you have stocked it well. Now the big question, have you weighed it yet? Would be curious how close you are at being maxed out? Fully loaded with fuel and your toy in the garage.
BEAUTIFUL!! There are so many DRV's in our RV Resort but nothing compared to yours! You two really thought through this build with Alicia who is awesome too! I still have to organize our cupboards also...Love our dishwasher also! I do like our shower seat that folds up to the wall. Try and convert your light switch in your closet to motion maybe? Awesome home you two!

Thanks Annie....it could have been us. We've been in the Orlando area for about 3 weeks and now on our way to Tampa. Thanks for coming along and have a blessed week!
WoW! LOVEd the video. Thank you for the tour.
Your rig is gorgeous!! I love how spacious she is, and all the lights you have.
Thank you Sandy....we love it too!
By far my favorite rig ever!!!
Awe thanks Christina....we absolutely love it! Have a great weekend.
I'd have to say ... For a toyhauler that thing is perfect 👌
Love it! I too have a smart for two! I miss it when I am on vacation…
We love our Smart Raeann. It's so much fun to drive!
@@SuiteTravels agreed!
Enjoyed looking at your home tour and I hope you have lots of fun touring your country.
Love your rig. I wish we had more places in Aus we could park them. Outdoor kitchen with tv would be awesome addition.
This is amazing you were truly blessed 😊
We are blessed Kathy - and we thank God every day for His blessings. Have a great week!
This is a mind blowing rig. I am trying to understand if you customized from the manufacturer, it sounds like yes. This is really amazing.
Thank you Julie....so happy you enjoyed it.
You guys put out some of the best content on the subject, thank you.
Awe thanks! We appreciate you coming along!
Wow !!!! Nice but a couple in love and good together can live in a palace or a cave and be happy!!! U guys look good together stay blessed and have long and happy life together!!!!
Awe....thank you! We love each other very much and love our life! Thanks for coming along.
Love your new home. So happy for you both. Have a fun and be safe. Hugs from Oklahoma
Thank you very much Gwen....hugs back to you! Hope all is well.
Thanks Tod! We appreciate it. Looking forward to getting together again!
Wow,You Guys did Great on this one. It’s Beautiful inside and out,Congratulations!!
Thanks Don. Glad you enjoyed it. Have a great weekend!
Your new home is beautiful thx for the video
Thanks Dennis....have a great weekend!
You guys sure put alot of thought i to what you wanted! It is a well planned coach that meets all your needs. It is amazing how after you have spent enough time in a trailer how you start to dream of the "ultimate" one... i think you guys should be very proud of this unit because i think you hit it out of the park!
Thank you Marc! We really appreciate that. It's not perfect, but it fits our needs rather well.
GREAT JOB!
v
It's perfect. Great job presenting Kellie (and Jim). Great improvements.
Thanks D&K....we love it! Missing you guys and can't wait to get together again soon.
Such luxury. Surprised all of the bells & whistles & no washer & dryer. Challenging to pull up to a laundry mat in town.
Your rig would be many persons little slice of Heaven.
It has worked well Sandra! Although....it's not really a command strip container - but it really holds well!
Great tour! Thanks for sharing!
My parents have a fancy DVR Mobile Suites, they travel around the country often. I have shared a couple of your videos with my dad. My husband and I look forward to RVing one day as well. Safe and happy travels!
Thanks Stephanie! We love our RV lifestyle and hope your dreams come true!
Beautiful Rig. I know y’all are happy with it and I’m so happy for you. I like all the upgrades so that everything works for you that makes life easier. Great video always look forward to seeing y’all. Stay safe and God bless.
Thanks Dwight. We do love it and you're right - it works for us! Thanks for coming along and have a wonderful weekend.
For the Norwegian Stressless chairs, which place in Missoula MT did you get them from? They look like what I’m looking for. Thanks SS
We purchased them from Wagner's Furniture in Missoula.
@@SuiteTravels Great, thank you.
Your DRV design is awesome. You added things that should have already been installed. Enjoy it. Rolling Retreats did a great job helping with the design and extra work.
Thank you so much! We absolutely love it and are very happy so far.
Very beautiful. Enjoy it. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you William. We absolutely LOVE it! Thanks for coming along.
Hi, new Subie here 🤗🤗🤗... That VIEW off your patio looks amazing, actually unreal... Looks like a scene from BONANZA!!!💯🥰
Beautiful, beautiful Home!👌🏿
Beautiful coach. Old motorcycle leg injuries from 40 years ago have put a roadblock in from Sheila being able to easily climb up into an HDT. Changing the fuel tank steps from two to four still isn't the answer, so the jury is still out if we will go that way or not. We saw some great toterhome designs with regular RV access doors on the side, but they can be quite long in total length, so we are still studying the situation.
Great tour and wow what a truly beautiful hope you both have. Lots of neat bells and whistles to play with. thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks Drew....can't wait to see your new rig!
Love your Full House Toy Hauler. When we win the lottery... 😎
LOL...well, it is our home Larry! Thanks for coming along.
I'm new to your channel. Love your RV and I can't wait to see how you decorate for the holidays.

Thanks. We love it and give them all the credit!
This is a beautiful Home on wheels. I want to get one that's exactly like yours. Might try and reach out to you and discuss the dealer you used to handle everything. Awesome Home
Thank you very much! We're very happy with our new rig and would be happy to share our experience. Thanks for coming along!
Your set up is incredible. I only hope one day my wife can do it, once we retire.
As we like to say Jim....It all starts with an idea! Thanks for coming along and good luck with your dream.
Excellent Guys...Congratulations...😎🇺🇸♾👍👍...
Thanks TG....we appreciate it!
Geez…the only thing you’re missing on this is an outdoor kitchen! Beautiful rig!!
Thanks Debber....we appreicate it!
Wonderful video. Gorgeous rig. Happy travels.
Thank you Angela. We appreciate you coming along!
They are living the LiFe
So, the 2023 models are just introduced, and we are looking at the Orlando which seems to have the same living/kitchen layout as the MX450.
Love that unit.
It’s perfect 👌🏻
It's perfect for us! Thank you.

That's exactly what I want when I retire, super nice set up you guys got
Thanks so much....we really like it! Thanks for coming along - have a great week.
Love your rig! Don’t know how I ended up here, but it definitely made me homesick for our RVing days. Last time we were out we were in Quartzite, AZ it was Jan 2013. Thanks for sharing your mods, you both seem like you would be lovely camping neighbors. Safe travels!
Thanks Angela. We appreciate the kind words and glad you found us! Have a great week.
You have a beautiful home. Enjoy !!
Thank you Warren. We appreciate you coming along!
My favorite is the car spot, behind the cab.
Ours too Judy! Thanks for coming along.

How iwish, u guys+rv life+Christ in yo hearts = life eternal.
Otherwise nice work yo doin with yo rv
I love how much she says amazing.. lol looks like you love the space though! really nice RV setup!
Great looking home. Appears you have stocked it well. Now the big question, have you weighed it yet? Would be curious how close you are at being maxed out? Fully loaded with fuel and your toy in the garage.
Yes we have Roy...and we're at max (24k). Just as we expected! It tows very nice though.
Thanks guys. Hope all is well with you and your rig is starting to get organized. Stay safe and let us know when you get back on the road!
