This is why I just do both. Gamepass has its value and having a bulky steam/epic library is nice too. Don’t knock paw patrol though, my 3 yr old loves that game.
That guy doesn’t understand FOV. That’s not the same as Ultra Wide. Ultra wide renders more of a scene, where as FOV adjusts zoom on the scene, which does give more data, but also moves things away. On Ultra Wide you can literally render far more of a scene without zooming out in FOV.

But i have symmetrical hands so i use my 20th anniversary special edition Dualshock4.
My White DS4 is for guests that have symmetrical hands.
Then there are the 4 Xböx360 wired controllers for bigger couch co-op sessions.
Im going to get DS5 when they are on sale.

Dont know why he bought up monitor vs tv, as you can connect a console to a monitor, might not use all the monitor features, but you can do it. Also you can connect a pc to a tv, which I do! So the monitor vs tv arguement is kinda moot

14:00 May keyboard costs ~$200 (Corsair K70 MK 2), but that's because of the type of mechanical switches which are Cherry Browns which are really nice, it has backlighting, custom themes, the ICue software, per key macros for when I'm working, the media controls, the keypad which I use a lot... ect.
The big problem with controllers is that the standard and elite controllers aren't different enough and neither warrant their prices while if you buy a cheap third party controller, the plastic feels so brittle. So either pay up or suck up.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is one of my all-time favorite games, like in my top 5 probably. The New Colossus was just such a huge downgrade in every regard that I hated it. First game's story was amazing but second's story felt really low-effort. First game had really dynamic gameplay but stealth is barely possible in the second game. First game had some really open levels but second game was way more narrow in its level design. The shooting is still amazing in 2 but the level design has no character at all.
Wolfenstein 2 honestly isn't a bad game, it's just so ridiculously below what came before it and I loved the original so much that it stung extra. I think that's why it got such mixed reception when it came out. I totally understand why people like 2 though and that's totally cool as long as we agree Youngblood was ass.

yes, definitely a huge difference between a $150-200 keyboard and a $50 one. The tactile sensations from a mechanical keyboard make a huge difference in accuracy and typing speed. You also really want a keyboard that lasts for a large number of strokes, and has keys that don't wear out over time. Lost count how many keyboards I have used where the "e" key and others are basically all black because the face of the key has been worn off beyond recognition.
I wouldn't say huge, i have owned 30 dollar bagin bin keyboards and i have owned 300 dollar customs. Difference isn't huge outside of latancy it is almost entirely personal preference. All it boils down to is are those features justifable to you for the price, if so by all means. Just dont expect some lekker switchs to magically turn you into some mlgpro
Yeah, my PC can still run Need For Speed Underground. The 'it looks horrible' idea doesn't work when you can crank these old titles up to 16X MSAA, and BEYOND ultra settings. Though, that's all besides the point. You can't rely on these console manufacturers to support backwards compatibility, and when they implement it, there's always a catch. On PC, you just install the game, maybe patch the exe, and wow, it works on modern Windows!!!
There have been games that I have gotten as part if big bundles that I never cared about for years that I've rediscovered because I saw a streamer play it and it turned out to be a diamond in the rough.

I think they were trying to make was that Keyboard and Mice can be really cheap, and in terms of controllers, PC can use basically anything with enough adapters. Whereas controllers on Console are limited to those specifically designed for said console. Except for the PS4 controllers for PS4 games on PS5, there is really limited choice compared to PC.

Yeah PC have a larger variety to choose from, sure, you can get a xbox elite for a hundred bucks, but you can get a controller for 40 bucks
My first keyboard and mouse was a combo deal for $25, lasted 3 years then I wanted to upgrade and spent a total of $200 (this is in AUD FYI) on the keyboard and mouse, both very good quality so shouldn't need to change them for at least 5 years but probably longer

My keyboard is around 6 or 7 years old, I believe it was about $70ish, works pretty well.
I have Xbox Elite v1, PS5, Switch & 8bitdo Retro controllers.......all for PC Gaming that i use on various game for various reasons
i love looking back at my STEAM library which has games from the 90s (maybe earlier) thru today
The Larry whatever guy was being too nice. Could have grilled the guy about the game pass thing. Like a game I have I can play on pc anytime even if it's old. Dose not matter to me if it's old or looks worse then games of today I like it and I wanna play it. Guess what I can do that on pc without paying extra for a internet.
Just have both, i have a ps5 for online games, and a PC for story driven experiences, best of both worlds, story games with the most beautiful graphics on PC and online games with out cheaters on ps5

Here is the thing... I have 4 PCs in my closet that are either obsolete or broken down. Probably 6-7 grand worth of crashed PCs.
My N64 still works. I only had to buy it once.
But if you wanna feel superior because you dropped $3000 on a PC and can't abide people being happy with a $500 console... thats a you issue.

You well and truly don’t get it. What are the specs of those PCs? What happened to them? I’ve had multiple consoles just straight up stop working on me, but PCs I used to have lasted me a good long time before I chose to upgrade.

@@ZuluZizo oh they were not $3k gaming PCs. I only built 1 good PC my whole life, and the Motherboard fried out. A couple are laptops that can't be upgraded and aren't worth fixing. Only reason I hold on to them is cus some day... as I keep telling myself 🙄... I am gonna get the hard drives out and salvage all the photos and live music recordings I lost.
Most still "work" if you like waiting 15 minutes for them to stop thinking about the smallest tasks. Most are just worn out and obsolete. If I used them only for internet browsing and word processing, they would be fine for that. I could probably completely overhaul a couple, or Frankenstein one out of several. But its not worth it.
My Sega Genesis and N64 fire right up like the day I took them out of the box. Never needed any maintenance or upgrades.
Though I will agree that more modern consoles will not have the longevity that the old cartridge memory consoles have. Especially considering they have a built-in time bomb with that little battery that keeps the motherboard aware of what day it is.
@@gwoody4003 Just admit that you don't know what you're talking about, those two consoles do not get updates ever and will eventually die soon and I mean all of them whilst I can play all of the N64s and Genesis' games on my PC just fine and they're definitely worth it a 500 dollar PC is a far better deal than a shitty plastic box that you have to pay full price for the games and have to pay just to play online console fanboy
