The QUALITY of the recordings with the older analog stuff DESTROYS this digital shit. I hate recording digital, they used to crank 100 watt Marshall's and Hiwatt's with 0 issues. Now if I start to crank a 50 watt Plexi I am getting yelled at. The digital adds a frailty to it that just doesn't exist with analog equipment. With analog it acts like an instrument in it's own in that it can breakup a little and it sounds great, not so with digital.
