Great pick, it was an entertaining session. I'm a bit of a rules lawyer and can't resist making sure people know when they aren't following the rules. So here are some nitpicks: When you discard cards, you first set them aside and do not put them on top of either discard pile. Then you replace them from either discard pile or the deck. You can draw replacements from one discard pile and some from the other. You can't take from any discard pile after you've taken from the draw pile. Finally you place your set aside cards on one of the discard piles in any order. Your discards do not block you from drawing from a discard pile. Turn order is used for the market phase. Rick skipped Shane when he reached to take cards before Shane took his turn. Shane should have had the opportunity to pick that card before Rick or cover it with his discards. Also all players draw back up to six cards from the draw pile before the next market phase. Everyone should always have six cards in their hand when deciding how many cards they want to discard. The first instance of this is when you told Shane to discard two and draw three you weren't letting him have all the information he should have had. But this seems to be a general misconception as everyone was always drawing more cards than they discarded after the first round. You always replace your discards equally during the market phase. 41:50 Also I think Rick accidentally gave Shane all of the bonus when they split second place. But it wouldn't have affected the result: Shane 181 (should have 176) Aaron - 143 Eric - 100 Rick - 82 (should have 87)
Can you guys please play more of the earlier games like super fight and CAH? New games are cool and all, but you're always just learning the game, I'd like to see you return to games you've played before.
When Eric thought he messed up and that he would lose the game because of it, I actually felt bad for him hahaha. He said "why" in such a sad voice when Aaron told him they would beat him because of it.
They really need a wheel to spin at the end for the winner, the wheel would be full of forfeits and the winner gets to select who takes the forfeit. I.e winner selects Rick then whatever the wheel lands on Rick has to do. (clean everyones shoes, clean the toilet, do a dance for 3 minutes, gargle a song, the choices are limitless lol)
38:34 actually that against the rules. Merchant OR sheriff offers a bribe and if other side accepts it, that's should be a deal and shouldn't be broken. In that case sheriff (Eric) offers amount of bribe and when Rick and Aaron agreed they should be free to go.
Am I the only one that would love to see a classic board game played by them? not that this type of game isn't fun, but I would love to watch a few hour game of monopoly or yatzee.
I've played this game a few times and I don't like it. I think there isn't enough incentive to bluff or lie. The one person who never lied won every single game we played... It's not balanced
Idk, maybe you and people you played with didn't fully understand rules or those, who lied, didn't do it very well. Because I played this game many times and usually the winner is the one, who sneaked in the most illegal goods, because they worth so much.
it is so aggravating to explain games to people like Shane. no attention span, asking then not listening. takes twice as long and then they still dont understand because they werent listening.... LOL anyways, all in fun
0:10 that was a FANTASTIC transition. Can't even describe how satisfying that was! LOL.
36:52 Shane drew 1 card too much and made it disappear under the table very quickly.
holy shit

This is a dream come true for me - my favourite channel playing the first board game that I own myself and have played many times. Awesome.

I think green cards should be discarded if you have a red in the bag and the sheriff inspects it.

14:55 What the fuck
You guys should play Yu-Gi-Oh
Jalen Dixon Nah, it's way too complex of a game for just one game night, probably just like all other TCGs

Ayeee i live in Nottingham
Was hoping that was Shrek of Nottingham.
Halfway through and it's hard to tell who is ahead... Shane seems to be doing well, but hidden contraband values are an unknown. Interesting game.
I thought so! Well done Shane!!!

MrMpa31 - empathy here as I’d need to ask again due to memory. Maybe it’s the pot eh
And then they walk away with the win...so annoying :)
