Very nice man. I'm liking how much love the community is given the Red Corsairs👍

You and me both! I didn't realise they were popular!

This is what I needed - I've been painting a lot of reds at the moment and this helps a lot!

"Make shadows interesting" has been my guiding principle since following your channel. With reds and blues it seems fairly straight forward. How do you go about something more awkward like a bright yellow?

My first instinct would be to say a deep magenta. Green/cyan could work too, but you'd have to be really careful with your midtones -- the risk of just turning into green, especially considering yellows tendency to transparency, would be high.
Worth experimenting with at some point!

@@GRGMiniatures My first thought was a rich reddish brown like mahogany, but thinking back you have done some great work with pink shadows before so a magenta makes so much sense.

Could you do genestealer cults like on the codex cover I love that look but don’t know how it would look on a mini

That's such cool art! Whoever they have doing the codex covers for 9th has really knocked it out the park. If/when I get some Genestealers on the table I will certainly make a video on them! :)

informative and helpful video. Your camera set up leaves something to be desired, would be nice to see better close ups of what you are actually painting etc, dont really need to see your hands and arms, just the brush and figure, sorry for the bluntness here.. was very late at night when i posted this and i wasnt really alert.
