Hey Spencer, just a suggestion from experience here. Drill a few holes going up on the garbage can and a full bag of grass will come out a whole lot easier.
The lawns turn out so much better when you bag all the over grown grass/dirt after edging. Love seeing these transformations, even got me doing better with my own lawn care.
Spencer nuff respect. You don’t make any judgement on homeowner. That fella going to the gym is fully capable of doing the lawn himself. No excuses. But there u are offering to do all the work for free. You are a saint and a hero. 😅
You are so good at what you do. Everything from the actual work, to interacting with strangers, to making the actual videos! One suggestion: PLEASE DO A CROSSOVER VIDEO. I WANT TO SEE THIS PLACE POWER WASHED! thanks 😊
Spencer you always seem to pick corner lots or houses that have so much frontage. I get excited to see the before and after pictures. You are one hard worker with the biggest heart. What a blessing you are to your community! 😊
I sure hope the resident kept up with the upkeep so that does not happen again! This is strangely fascinating to watch! Thank you for your beautification work. It is inspiring and important.
When I was 47, I started doing landscape maintence, mostly mowing (walking behind the mower). Boy I was fit! Lots of exercise and had pretty good energy (climate wasn't bad either...not the heat and humidity Spenser is working in). By 60, I figured my body was worth about half my younger energy. You are forced to learn how to work with the resources you have. As you get older, your experience is more valuable, but often people don't value the experience as part of the work (labor) qualifications! 😊
I want to thank you for your UA-cam videos and your kindness. I needed my double wide mh roof cleaned and could not afford to have it done, but at 68, I knew I could get up there. You had inspired a company owner that was in my neighborhood to find a roof that needed to be cleaned. He picked mine. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for inspiring others. May you and Bee Roofing be blessed.
So, so glad you bagged all that up, Spencer! I know it's a lot more work than throwing it in the yard but it looks SO much better! It's amazing how much dirt weighs. 😄 Maybe it's time for a cart with wheels! AWESOME TRANSFORMATION, SPENCER!!
I just posted the same thing about using a trash can on wheels. I bought mine at Walmart for $30 and it has been so much better to use than hauling around a regular trash can. It’ll even roll on grass. It’s important to treat your back with care because the older you get the more you’ll feel how you jacked your back over the years. I just turned 65. It isn’t called “back breaking work” for nothing.
Also with the square one on wheels the heavy paper lawn bags drop right down perfectly in the one on wheels. No need to empty out all the plastic bags because the lawn bags compost right down.
Whew! That edging was a back breaker! Bagging and removing the edgings instead of mowing over them was an extra step but made a world of difference. Really nice work, Spenser!
Can I also just say what an awesome medium UA-cam is? It lets Spencer do this for free to the homeowner AND free to his viewers, while still making a living. Good on ya mate, for all the hard work! Making these videos is almost a second job.
@@kylecasey7890 Yep. In addition to working all day on a property (the first job), he also has to set up cameras, download the videos, edit them, do the intros, etc (the second job). It’s a lot of work, and I’m glad he’s getting rewarded for it.
@@fastest1321What? They must depend on the first job, mowing, to be able to offer freebies. Yes? Then there are all the wives who approve of the free work. Thank them , too.
@@fastest1321 it could be depending on ad rev. This video as i type this has over 1million views in 2 weeks. Meaning at least has made 3.5K off this video as of right now
Incredible! That was an awesome transformation. I had a good chuckle over the homeowner's comment that he has been gone for a week. Those are the fastest growing edges, EVER! 😂 Kidding aside, I do get it when you just don't have the right equipment. Beautiful work done by a very generous guy. ❤🎉
You don't need the "right" equipment to clean up your lawn and do edging. There are old-fashioned manual edgers that an able-bodied young man could push around if he had a mind to do it! I have one hanging in my garage, for goodness sake and I'm a 72 year old woman. You can probably find them at garage sales. You don't need a top notch edger or string trimmer to pull weeds and clip corners and fence lines clean.
These videos are like therapy for me. There's just something about things being clean, neat, organized, well presented, or restored that just calms me down. Plus I like doing the work, as well.😊
I just want to say that for the most part whenever I watch these videos, I’m always surprised and happy to see how nonjudgmental people are. I see so many people giving sympathy and understanding towards the people who have overgrowth and unkept yards. It’s really inspiring and has really made me know that I’m on the right path in my journey towards being more understanding towards people. It really is true that when your intent and energy out there you find yourself inundated with people😊 who are already embodying what you’re trying to do.

Spencer you are so cool. You clearly were brought up with excellent morals and values and respect for others. Has your community ever reached out to you to help with some basic expenses? You do so much value not for homeowners but fit the community clearing gutters and deterring criminals. I know it’s out of your pocket and that is truly generous. What a transformation! Great job. My back is hurting after watching your hard graft. Well done. Such hard work, but so rewarding to see what a difference youve made 😅
Another awesome transformation! I am continually amazed at how in a country so litigious as the US, how poorly-maintained (or not maintained at all) the sidewalks are in your videos. Seems like a recipe for trips/falls/injuries resulting in lots of lawsuits. Great work, Spencer! 👍
Awesome job! Perhaps now the owner will feel less overwhelmed and motivated to tackle the rest. It's a nice home and neighborhood. Love the pecan trees.
The upside to the seeing how bad these lawns & etc are, is seeing the detailed work in getting it cleaned up. So Bless these homeowners for whatever reason to have let that happen. 🙏
Spencer I am sure that the neighbors are so thankful that you cleaned that curb line up now the rain will be able to flow down the street and into the storm drain. As always Spencer you did a great job.
Amazing transformation Spencer! Two things stuck out in my mind: “I’ve been out of town for a week” and the clever use of your shovel to pull one of the very heavy bags of turf to your truck. 😊👍
🌿🌷🌿 Wow, Spencer!! I bet the homeowner was thrilled on this fantastic clean up. Nice to meet your brother. Congrats on 1.5M+ Woo Hoo! Love your videos & music. 🌿🌷🌿
What I think of most when I watch these videos is what happens when the hardworking landscaper goes home at the end of a long and productive day spent in service to others. I hope there is a hot shower, clean clothes, a nutritious meal, and tons of warm hugs. ❤
If I owned a house and someone like Spencer offered to do work like this for me for free, I'd be providing lunch, cold drinks, and dinner...I'd even tell him to invite his wife for the dinner too. Even if he doesn't want payment, he deserves at least that much as a thank you.
@GuyFromDonetsk right on. That would be awesome to spend abit of time with those showing appreciation & getting to know the homeowner/s. Spencer will probably even feel better in the long run. 😊
I don’t blame this homeowner for being overwhelmed with this yard!! Oooh I am so glad to meet your brother and to know that the overgrowth is re-cycled 👍 Love you to pieces 💞
The moment you busted out the yellow mowing go cart I lost it you truly went above and beyond I pray that you are compensated tenfold for your generous contributions to society!!! You are an amazing person.
I really applaud your shovel hack to move the heavy bags of dirt and grass. What an ingenious way to save your back from being hurt...let the tool assist with the heavy lift, just a brilliant idea.
Awesome job Spencer...you are a true humanitarian in your community. 18:48 Get yourself a trashcan roller/wheel base so you're not trying to drag that heavy trashcan like that...don't hurt yourself.
Seriously thats a Lotta labour intensive work, as always Spencer bro you have done an amazing, speechless and wonderful work transforming this insanely overgrown lawn. God bless you.
Spencer, you are a great man to go around and do the things you do for the community and for common decency! I applaud you and lift you up in prayer for what you do! I have a question for you, have you ever went back to any of the locations and ever did a look back? Does anyone ever keep up the hard work that you have done? Or do all of the work go to waste, I despise how negative that sounds. Any locations that you have kept up with? Thank you for the content you put out!
Proud of how you and Jack have built great blue-collar jobs and also help others. More people in this country will hopefully think about blue collar jobs that are greatly needing to be filled. They can pay well…help local citizens…and keep our great country moving forward.
So dope how the grass overgrows and then deposits more soil for it to grow on. Really shows how quickly nature takes back and breaks down what we shape and put together.
My question is, do you ever come back with a pressure washer for the big dirt stains left behind? It’s always so satisfying watching you clean up the yards, but I’m always curious about the dirt stains left behind
Looks amazing! Like a different house. I’m sure the owner was super stoked and appreciative of your hard work. Super satisfying. I know the neighbours are happy too. That street is really lovely.
This is the first video on your site that I watched. I LOVED every minute. Regardless of how this lawn got overgrown I’m sure the owner really appreciated what his property can look like with a little work or regular lawn service. I know the neighbors are happy too.
Definitely agree. I paid $200 at Tractor Supply for a towable lawn cart that can haul 1,500 pounds. I use that little workhorse all of the time!
I agree,save your back!
Wow. That was a massive job. I hope that those you help understand the incredible amount of work you do for them. You are so kind & generous.
Whew! That edging was a back breaker! Bagging and removing the edgings instead of mowing over them was an extra step but made a world of difference. Really nice work, Spenser!
"I've been out of town for a week or so". Lol. Lucky guy, though.
My thoughts exactly, just own that you’ve neglected it and graciously accept the help!
@@scarlettshockley5104lol not everyone knows how to keep a lawn well looking
Right! Amazing work though!
Lol yeah that made me laugh, that’s way more than a weeks worth of neglect but at least he was polite.
In defense of the homeowner, the majority of the overgrowth was the curbs and sidewalks. 🤷♀️
Can I also just say what an awesome medium UA-cam is? It lets Spencer do this for free to the homeowner AND free to his viewers, while still making a living. Good on ya mate, for all the hard work! Making these videos is almost a second job.
He’s got over 1 million subscribers. I’d say it’s his first job! You tubers with that subscriber count make 10’s of thousands per week.
@@kylecasey7890 Yep. In addition to working all day on a property (the first job), he also has to set up cameras, download the videos, edit them, do the intros, etc (the second job). It’s a lot of work, and I’m glad he’s getting rewarded for it.
@@kylecasey7890no they don’t unfortunately
@@fastest1321What?
They must depend on the first job, mowing, to be able to offer freebies. Yes?
Then there are all the wives who approve of the free work. Thank them , too.
@@fastest1321 it could be depending on ad rev. This video as i type this has over 1million views in 2 weeks. Meaning at least has made 3.5K off this video as of right now
Thank you sir for helping so many people. You are a fantastic guy and i hope you will be blessed tenfold. 🙏 🌟
@@jannibal9273 So true. And why would you buy/rent a home with that insane amount of frontage and then never maintain it for years?
@@jannibal9273 Great, so it's not just me who sees the obvious problem here!
What if the homeowner had been gone for two weeks!
Would have been awesome to get the homeowner's reaction to seeing it completed! I bet he was stoked!!! Great work!
Maybe he went out of town again, “for a week or so!”
@@MarkW-j2k😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I wouldn’t show my face either, I feel for his neighbors
The able bodied homeowner should be embarrassed and ashamed, not stoked.
😂😂
These videos are like therapy for me. There's just something about things being clean, neat, organized, well presented, or restored that just calms me down. Plus I like doing the work, as well.😊
I feel the same way. It heals my soul to see kindness in action.
@meggarstang6761 Kindness in action...I like that. 👍
I just want to say that for the most part whenever I watch these videos, I’m always surprised and happy to see how nonjudgmental people are.
Well said, gracias.
A very pretty tree-lined street! What an enormous enhancement to the entire neighborhood, Spencer! ❤️
I really hope the young man keeps his yard looking nice!! This was truly a blessing 🙌🏽
I doubt it.
@@dobledekersoulwrekrdo you workout, are you in good shape, have you prioritized some things over other things? Would you trade a perfectly manicured lawn for a healthy body
I’m just saying like I don’t wanna wreck your soul or anything but I consider myself a relatively sharp knife in the drawer and idk your comment kinda struck me differently like there might be more to it and it just kinda got me to thinking, anyways hope the lawn is looking good

Please never stop dropping out of screen on your intro. It makes me smile every time. Love your work and the video editing lately seems to be getting more sophisticated, keep it up! You're an inspiration to all your subscribers and viewers.
You seem to pick the hard ones. Thank you for sharing your hard work. God bless.
Love watching the transformation, like today I could hardly tell there was a sidewalk.. You are the hardest working dude I watch on YT. God Bless you Spencer for making a difference in people's life.
I have shoveled out a brick walk that was completely covered. I hurt watching you do it! I have also watched other mowing channels. YOURS IS THE BEST! The care and attention to detail you have creates a PERFECT lawn and yard every time! Kudos for another j9b well done! ❤
Wow!!!!! I wish I could see it after a rain shower so I could see how clean the sidewalk gets and the grass without the dirt on top. Keep up the great work!!
Since I started watching this channel, I've been taking better care of my lawns and edges. Honestly, it's not so much that I'm taking pride, as I'm diminishing guilt.
Friday morning with Spencer!! Sooo happy to get to meet the home owner. Great job, as always♡
Why are you so happy to meet the homeowner???? I don't understand.
Same, doesn’t make sense.
Fantastic job Spencer, keep up the great work!!
I saw where yo had a go fund me page help a veteran get his utilities back on and some house repairs. That’s so honourable. So honourable. You’re an honorary Canadian for your politeness. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦❤❤❤
My back hurts from watching this. Great job!
This transformation was insane!😱 GREAT job Spencer 👏👏👏👏👏
What a transformation! Great job. My back is hurting after watching your hard graft. Well done. Such hard work, but so rewarding to see what a difference youve made 😅
Another awesome transformation!
I am continually amazed at how in a country so litigious as the US, how poorly-maintained (or not maintained at all) the sidewalks are in your videos. Seems like a recipe for trips/falls/injuries resulting in lots of lawsuits.
Great work, Spencer! 👍
That bagging and dragging will wear you out!
Excellent work as always- I'm sure the neighbors will appreciate the transformation!
Love your work Spencer, you are an amazing person 👍😊
AMAZING WORK! Spencer you are a true blessing to us all! As always FABULOUS transformation! Keep it up! Love from Oklahoma! ❤😊
As usual, great result. Not only do you need a wheelbarrow, a small trailer would come in handy as well.
Yeah, @24:07 I wonder how long that tire has been sitting there? A week?
Yeah, out of town for a week
Spencers back, shoveling 😅😮❤
Spencer's someone special

Yeah tire for a week...
I love! Love! Love! When you pick up the debris and especially the lawn clippings.
It makes the yards look like someone cares.

🌿🌷🌿 Wow, Spencer!! I bet the homeowner was thrilled on this fantastic clean up. Nice to meet your brother. Congrats on 1.5M+ Woo Hoo! Love your videos & music. 🌿🌷🌿
Sadly, the homeowner was a no show at the end.
I love seeing the sidewalk ramp cleared. That's going to help lots of folks get out and about who we're possibly afraid of falling before.😊
What I think of most when I watch these videos is what happens when the hardworking landscaper goes home at the end of a long and productive day spent in service to others.
Probably goes home to his computer and starts editing for another 4 or 5 hours 😂
@GuyFromDonetsk right on. That would be awesome to spend abit of time with those showing appreciation & getting to know the homeowner/s. Spencer will probably even feel better in the long run. 😊
My goodness, what a job. I hope this homeowner will take advantage of how you cleaned up and edged for him. Good job, Spencer.
I don’t blame this homeowner for being overwhelmed with this yard!! Oooh I am so glad to meet your brother and to know that the overgrowth is re-cycled 👍 Love you to pieces 💞
Yeah, it happens to some people
The moment you busted out the yellow mowing go cart I lost it you truly went above and beyond I pray that you are compensated tenfold for your generous contributions to society!!! You are an amazing person.
I really applaud your shovel hack to move the heavy bags of dirt and grass. What an ingenious way to save your back from being hurt...let the tool assist with the heavy lift, just a brilliant idea.
What hard work you've accomplished!!! You are amazing!!!!
Awesome job Spencer...you are a true humanitarian in your community.
18:48 Get yourself a trashcan roller/wheel base so you're not trying to drag that heavy trashcan like that...don't hurt yourself.
I did that a time or two! 😊 ...when I was 20 years younger!
Seriously thats a Lotta labour intensive work, as always Spencer bro you have done an amazing, speechless and wonderful work transforming this insanely overgrown lawn. God bless you.
Thanks for sharing your little brother with us! Two thumbs up on another great job 👏
Thank you!
Your videos are my weekly motivation to work on my yard.
Wonderful Spencer! You make the world a better place! I'm gonna work on my yard today, thank you!
I've always wondered the same! But I assume the next couple of rains clean it up a bit
Me too@@ParallaxHearts
He has a separate channel for his powerwashing now!
Now THAT is a result AND a workout!! Keep doing what you do Spencer!!
Looks amazing! Like a different house. I’m sure the owner was super stoked and appreciative of your hard work. Super satisfying. I know the neighbours are happy too. That street is really lovely.
WoW…. You uncovered a lost sidewalk!!! Intense work. Found your brothers channel and subscribed. Thanks for sharing spencer!!!!❤️🌻👍🏼
This is the first video on your site that I watched. I LOVED every minute. Regardless of how this lawn got overgrown I’m sure the owner really appreciated what his property can look like with a little work or regular lawn service. I know the neighbors are happy too. City services vary but our County and City services maintain sidewalks and gutters because that’s their property. Nonetheless it was great content for YOU - Im a new follower!
My back hurt watching this. I never saw so much edging and shoveling and hauling dirt. You're a saint for doing that for free.
You do an awesome job and are a blessing to the property owners and the community you serve.
If I was healthy I wouldn't be able to stop offering to help if he was doing my yard. Even just bagging up the waste or something. I hope they keep him supplied with endless cold drinks and some lunch. What an angel he is to all the eldery and disabled. X
Awe, my Friday Spencer night. I look forward to your videos to relax after a long week. You are so special to help all the people in need of lawn care. God bless you!
I would love to see a power wash and mowing transformation on the same property! Awesome job as always!
Nice try Mr homeowner!

Watching this after a year and I just want to say that I'm so happy for you, finding better ways to do this job. Like getting a wheelbarrow, finding the shovel attachment, etc. Take care of your back so you can take care of more lawns! I hope more efficient tools and techniques find their way to you as payback for the hard work you do, and for helping others for free. Happy mowing!
That was a very very big yard. Great job so refreshing to watch. Please continue to do this mother earth appreciates you and so does the communities you transform. ❤
I've often wondered what you do with all the sod after you bag it - I'm glad to know there's a place where you can have it composted! Great job as usual!
I was wondering about that! Still mid-video, so I guess it comes at the end. When I saw the teaser video I was thinking “the dump?!” This sounds much more logical for someone working with lawns etc 😅
Love watching your dedication to helping out those who need your help. 🥰
Yeah!
WOW...Spencer ..you Rock! Looks amazing 🎉🎉
Excited to see another one! Thanks, Spencer!
For sure! Spencer kicks out new videos every Friday 😊
What a blessing you are for people and their neighborhoods.
There had to have been at least 1500 pounds of grass and dirt on just the first sidewalk/wheelchair access. I'm really surprised that the city didn't fine him for that mess.😮 Awesome job, my friend, awesome job!!
