This backpack is pure 🔥. I love that organization and functionality. Looks great also. It's on my wishlist. Thanks for putting this together for the community. Next level stuff.
Without knowing or seeing the videos on the creative process, it's obvious that a lot of work went into creating this bag for actual & practical use. For users by users.
thank you so much! And yes, after reviewing 300+ bags on my UA-cam channel I took everything I learned and wanted to make my own backpack all of which was helped by the votes of our amazing community. We are very proud of what we created :)
Super interesting, details well reviewed and manufactured. Your first and second backpacks are Part of a big narrative, as always! How to find the better Space for the nomad Nation on their way to their happyness? And I love you Color, Choice, Cooper, Gold, decent. What can I Say more? - Already ordered, man! Just waiting!
Incredible, incredible bag. I would say almost perfect in every way for an EDC. Only reason I wouldn’t pull the trigger is the lack of second bottle holder, but that’s a non-negotiable for me. But this is going to be a hit.
Thanks so much! And the great thing about the T22 is that you can add a second water bottle holder! Check out this video to see what I mean - ua-cam.com/video/Jld3eIBjw0I/v-deo.html
Brother!!! I kove this thing, its the Bange for my budget fir now (and it stands! They dont even exploit it; surprised ) also like the credit card holder on left shoukder strap.
right now our #1 priority is making sure the T22 is made with the highest possible quality in the fastest amount of time. But outside of that we are planning our next products, big announcements coming soon ;)
Thanks for your feedback! But nope, it was not forgeotten, it was very intentional. Reason being while many of us (myself included) LOVE a pen pocket, the majority of people don't carry pens, and pen-pockets are extremely prescriptive. This means if you don't carry a pen, those pockets are useless to you. But don't worry, there are still plenty of ideal places to clip a pen. For me I like to clip them on the laptop sleeve (a perfect fit) or in the front Hatch as shown here - ua-cam.com/video/IuTw-qf7Kl8/v-deo.htmlsi=WDstWNuF9IdX2cFC&t=73
The only thing that’s not making this a perfect backpack for me is the lack of organization in the main compartment. Seeing everything all jumbled up in there felt like a clutter mess. Especially if you take a lot of tech gear. Maybe have 2-3 extra pockets, sorta like the navigator 15Ls main compartment could resolve this issue! Apart from that this is a perfect backpack 🔥
Really appreciate your feedback! We definitely have a belief that 'less is more' when it comes to pockets in the main compartment, as most carry-enthusiasts are utilizing tech pouches for organization these days. We will def consider adding more pockets to future bags!
According to what i watched in this video, there are 3 pockets in the main compartment, which is really ok having in consideration that the more pockets the less total space you will have inside. So i find 3 pockets the sweet spot tbh. Regards.
@@antzmal5464 We actually DO have 3 pockets in the main compartment. Be sure to check out this IG Reel to get a full pocket-overview for the T22 - instagram.com/reel/C5iUH8BPSlt/
The B7 notebook/passport test is nice but will it fit a Bellroy passport wallet? I mean it looks like it will because the B7 you use seems to be much thicker than a passport but it'd be nice to confirm. Cheers!
correct! it should be noted that PU coated zippers are not waterproof, just more water resistant than non-PU coated zippers. Water can still get through the seams. So we followed industry standard of making the front and tech compartments PU coated, and leaving the main compartment a reverse coil zipper. BUT! We also made sure to use YKK zippers with a water-resistant DWR spray for additional weather resistance 💪
Just found the hydrolock post that shows they are indeed dedicated per side with tag identification. Will definitely add the other side to have both options available and equipped.
Just received the backerkit survey for add-ons but none of the accessories are available to select. Definitely will be adding extra hydrolock and retractable key leash.

@@Scott__C so sorry haha, and YES! The 'T' is short for 'Tenax', which is the latin word for 'tenacious and persistant'. This is a bag designed for people who get shit done, so we had to give it a name that was fitting for that lifestyle!
Great question! There is not because it really depends on which airline. So many airlines and so many different policies. It's best to check the dimensions and cross-check with the airlines you frequent most (pasted below). Having said that, this should be considered a personal item and fit under the seat on the majority of non-budget airlines :) NOT EXPANDED: Height: 18 inches (45cm) Width: 12 inches (31cm) Depth: 7 inches (18cm) when fully packed out EXPANDED: Height: 18 inches (45cm) Width: 12 inches (31cm) Depth: 8 inches (21cm)
I don’t know about international travel but I can tell you it will fit mostly all domestic airlines. I use peak design 30L travel bags and it fits no problem. It s bigger than this bag. Southwest, Alaska, United,Delta and Hawaiian Airlines will work. 😊
For everyday carry, the T22 packs a punch at 22 liters, with dimensions of: Height: 18 inches (45cm) Width: 12 inches (31cm) Depth: 7 inches (18cm) when fully packed out And when you need a little extra room to roam, it expands to 26 liters, with dimensions of: Height: 18 inches (45cm) Width: 12 inches (31cm) Depth: 8 inches (21cm) And it all comes in at a lightweight 2.7lbs (1.2kg), excluding any detachable water bottle holders or other add-ons. As for personal/carry on - totally depends on the airline as they all have different policies. But it should be good as a personal item on most flights!
Thanks for your feedback! We know the look is quite bold and won't be for everyone, but we've raised nearly $380,000 USD on Kickstarter so far, so clearly lots of people really like it :)
back side looks like it could get uncomfortable with that big luggage strap always being there and if the backpockets have items in them...vertical zipper pockets are horrible in real use...no load lifters on the straps for such a huge bag? pass
Thanks for your feedback! We did a focus group test with 6 members, and no one ever mentioned anything about the luggage pass through being uncomfortable, not even once. Vertical zippers aren't for everyone, we respect that some people have a more... old school preference with their bags. And we LOVE load lifters for larger travel bags (30+ liters), but for a 22L EDC bag load lifters would be overkill and add unnecessary weight. Have a great day!

Nice overview, Aaron. Glad you showed it as both a work and travel bag!
glad it was helpful!!
Really like what I see! Zippers security!!! 😮🎉. Hydrolock! 🎉 it’s just missing a top quick access pouch. Can’t wait for presale!

Has anyone ever told you, you look like this guy named Aaron of nomad nation
I've heard that once or twice ;)
Needs a bit of colour -may be change the colour of the pull tabs? What about a USB charge zone?
thanks for your suggestion! No USB charge zones for Fyro bags as they have a tendency to break easily and can compromise the weather-proofness

I don't have the Bellroy Passport Wallet so can't say for sure, but if it's the same size as a passport than should be good to go!

Anything bigger like 40/45l? And with hip-belts and load lifters
not yet, but hopefully in the near future!
Will this work as a personal item?
absolutely! I'd say on at least 95% of airlines, but you might have some difficulty on overseas budget airlines in Europe / Asia
Nice overview, Aaron. Long day today and maybe I'm being dense, but does the T denote something?
Thanks so much! And what 'T' are you referring to?
@@Fyro_official T22
I'd say it's the T for Terminator. Since Terminator 2 had T1000 Terminator in it and it was known as T2 short for Terminator 2. That's just my guess

I currently use the minaal carry-on which is 35L and i've never had a problem fitting it underneath the seat.
