Nick Turturo was great in the show. There was just no room for him as a full time character. Others have left over the years for the same reason.
The show is pretty dam close to a real police family, i was in law enforcement. We just did not have a large gathering every Sunday. We did as often as we could. I love Bridget Moynahan

Having watched this show for most season , they never have had any bad actors in any season. It is very popular in South Africa . Hope it continues .
Lyle was great in that character. He nailed it and don't think anyone else could have made it better than he did. Bring him back. Need a spin-off with Lyle Lovett as lead character. 🇺🇲🇺🇲

Blue Bloods is my favorite show. I love all the characters, I like how they all have real problems and how they solve them on the show. It makes me think about how I can solve mine.The characters get along or they don't. It's just like what's going on in life now.. Thank you for all your hard work on the show... Betty Rice, Amy Carlson (Linda) chose to not renew her contract. She wanted to pursue "greener pastures" elsewhere. Not the first time that she's walked away from a high ratings show either. She did the same thing for the "Third Watch" show as well. Amy thought she'd find "greener pastures" but failed AGAIN.
@@sergeantmasson3669 It happens. I guess she just gets bored with her roles and admittedly her role on Blue Bloods was rather limited. Sometimes a person in any line of work has to realize their limitations. Amy was never going to be a star quality leading lady. Perhaps she should have been satisfied with a small role in a quality show like Blue Bloods. It sure beats a small role in a bad show or even a larger role in a short-lived show!

I continue to watch the show and the main danger I see in it’s future is if ultra-Woke CBS and their ****ed up Woke writers continue the Woke script trend that has ruined most of the CBS lineup. This and one other Friday shows are the only CBS shows I watch as other shows I watched for years on Sunday through Thursday have been disgusting since 2019 and I’ve stopped watching them all. The new pollution in their lineup like NCIS: Hawaii and CSI: Las Vegas are nonstop virtue signals with HORRIBLE D-RATED ACTORS and one episode or less was enough to sicken me and never watch them again. Fans should boycott these networks and all of their political virtue signaling programming propaganda.
As "WOKE" as CBS is, I've been expecting Nicky to come home from college with her new black lesbian lover. If the producers are ever looking for a way to get rid of Grandpa Reagan, that would be the way to do it - heart attack.

I really liked the show for years but stopped early in the season Amy Carlson left. It wasn't because she was gone but something changed in the show and I can't stand Jamie and Eddie.
Her contract ran out, and she decided not to renew.

In the episodes of the show we are getting in Australia I have noticed that Tom Selleck spends a lot of time sitting down and when he does walk it is only for a very short distance he appears to be doing so awkwardly. Does he have a problem that affects his walking?
David Hunn, Tom Selleck is 6'4" tall. Sometimes it's difficult for him to walk around the set because of the lighting, cameras, microphone booms, etc.

As much as I've loved this show over the last 11 seasons, season 12's writing has been, in my opinion, abysmal. There are too many subplots, & the situation between Frank & the idiot mayor they hired was ridiculous. Police arrest wrongdoers. It doesn't matter your rank...

Also keep in mind that Nick Totorro's character Sgt Anthony Renzulli would of been greatly reduced if he had not left. After Jamie Reagan had been trained and assigned a regular partner Totorro character would of been a background character, with Jamie eventually being assigned to ride with Edie and then promoted to Sgt and transferring.

Your headlines are very misleading. You make the story headline seem as though TS ordered NT off the show, then it turns into a fluff piece and everyone loves each other.
This video kind of sucks. First, Nick Tuturro left six years ago, who cares, and apparently no one told him to 'get out' as the thumbnail suggests. Second, Lyle LOVETT, not Luckett or Lockett, get the names right!
Too long winded to get to a point where nothing is wrong..too much build up to a minor negative..

After the Lyle Lovett guest-star, I'd wondered - based on the strength of the character - if there was going to be some kind of connected spinoff the likes of which has so frequently been done with the various NCIS, CSI, etc type shows.

I'm sure he could and would return if they want or need him.
On his podcast where Will Estes was the guest he sounded like he'd done what he really wanted to do with the character but maiinlly would have come back for Jamie's wedding if the show had asked.
