Dear Lena , wow GibsonES330 !! it,s has great sound!! you take me to the heavn by the A TRAIN !! LIFE is Go ON,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,THANK you foe your Video,
Thanks Victor! Yes, it's not easy. I often find I neglect one instrument over the other, but if you asked me to choose, I couldn't do that either 😊 Enjoy your bass and guitar studies, I'm sure it's a good challenge to do both. 😊👍
Hi Chigita! I‘m good, thanks! Hope you too! I agree, it took a long time to hear from me again. So glad you like this version! Have a great weekend and chat again soon! Love, L. 😊♥️
Thanks dear Enzo 🤗 Yes, I'm super happy with it! I treated myself and bought it in October. It's from 1968 and in great shape still. So happy to have found it. Hope all is well your side. All the best!
I make a playlist of different versions of the tune, then learn the melody and the harmony lying underneath. What‘s your approach, do you play as well?
@@lenarein7008 Thanks, I do play but when learning songs by ear i tend to get overwhelmed and revert back to noodling unless i have a visual of what's being played. Any suggestions of songs to start with it?
@@ReleaseTheReal Blue Bossa or Autumn Leaves could be good songs to start. As a pre-exercise before soloing, you could play all the arpeggios of the different chords and, later, try to hit these chord tones in your solo, too. Another idea could be to solo around the melody but never lose track of it. This will help you stay in the form, too. It’s always work in progress but I hope these ideas help. Best of luck and have fun 😊 👍

Wowwww, the double bass can play alone...You're really magic. Thank you for the sweet music!
😂👌
I’ve been trying to play both jazz guitar and double bass. Sadly I play both badly, I compliment anybody that can do both, great job!!
