This just happened to me!! I measured my item and was totally fine, but “unkind” worker pulled me from line and insisted I pay an extra $100!!! SO angry!! Who do I contact for this lawsuit?!?!
This happened to my sister-in -law, my nephew, several of his friends and myself in Orlando MCO airport last spring on a trip back from taking the kids for their senior trip. The kids had the exact same backpacks they took down from Philly to Florida. The attendants flagged a few of the teenagers. The TEENAGERS! Now what if us adults were not there. Our teens would have been stranded at MCO. IMAGINE that lawsuit! The attendants were extremely rude. They were trying to hide it by speaking spanish but I understand enough to know what they said. I will never fly Frontier again. And that is a shame because the flight crew itself was awesome. I hope Frontier loses every suit brought against them.
All their gate agents need to be investigated, too, based on how much commission they've made. And then sued individually as well, in addition to this lawsuit. Hold EVERYONE involved accountable. Reason to never fly with them or deal with some of their trash ass employees..
It happened to us yesterday! Soaked for $200.00. They use shady words about what is a carry on item and what is a personal item. They do it right at the gate at boarding time when it is already stressful. They bullied my husband and separated us at the gate door.They separated our seats. FU Frontier, your cattle car operation: we hope you get the justice you deserve, and your employees too.
WHAT REALLY IS SAD: My Father worked for the 1960's Frontier Airlines where customer service was TRULY Customer Service. Employees were terminated on the spot the minute they did anything wrong. A real airline would rather get rid of the employee (CANCER) than have a bad reputation.
The same thing happened to me, I am visually impaired and disabled. I was told by CheapOair I qualified for two bag's free when I downloaded The Frontier App. THAT WAS A BIG LIE. I didn't have a discount and I can't really say Customer Service because they didn't help me at all. I asked for a manager but they had no one there. They were very rude. Needless to say by the time I got to talk to someone on the phone they had already closed the doors on me after a 3 hour delay. I cried for hours and missed my Granddaughter's Birthday. Those are memories l missed. I was embarrassed and distraught sobbing at DFW Airport
Are used to work for frontier in Philly. Well technically I worked worldwide flight service and it is true that they practice this? As well, they are instructed to close doors earlier than scheduled so people will miss their flight.
This extract situation happened to me. That lying gate agent “manger” at the Trenton Airport illegally pull me from my flight and the airport closed, and I was left at the airport by myself after about 10:30pm
Seems like airlines have become upset that passengers are fine with just traveling with a backpack 🎒 Before, a "personal item" and carryon were free. I guess now it's just best to travel with your wallet, a 3 oz frebreze, and tide packet in your pocket and you straight 😂
I had my flight delayed 7 hours. When arriving, no one was on the front desk, I was running everywhere to try to find information. I missed flight by 3 minutes, because it's impossible to check in. You have to use whatsapp to communicate with them now. No reimbursement. When someone finally came out from the plane, she kept on agreeing with me and thinks that 1 hour before the flight is late. This is in sacramento fronteir. I just tell myself that the man in the sky doesn't want me to fly that day. 😂
I was just hung up on by a frontier representative because I questioned why I had to pay extra money for a flight they cancelled and I asked for another date. It felt like take it or leave it! How can I rectify this. Even a supervisor whom called himself Johny cut me off from explaining what happened? I feel like I was being extorted.
This airlines should be shut down. The consumer has a right as well, who is the airlines to say the bag doesn’t fit. Then they call the police. If frontier accuses ppl of anything after their bag fits, contact your DA ofc in the state you live in.
Im also curious if race enters in, because I've seen who gets charged and by whom....and who gets to walk on un-hasseled with way oversized luggage. Seems like the percentage of people that pay extra will not match the demographic percentage of their customers.
