Like I said, Frontier was a great airline PRIOR to Biffle, now it's no longer an airline but basically a cattle carrier in the sky. I've been in the airline industry for over 30 years, so I know wtf I'm talking about. You can keep your unwanted, funky @ss opinions to yourself!
@@hudsonhawk90 It's how did "you" end up so illiterate, and "now", not "not". How did you become such a horrible proofreader? Did you not cover that in 4th grade like the rest of us? When did you become so inept at reviewing your own writing?
I only did that to prove a point. I understand disagreeing with someone's ideas or point of view, but please tell me how attacking your perception of their intelligence contributes to the discussion?
Everyone is becoming so rude these days for no reason. Kindness is free and less likely to cause you to stroke out over an internet stranger's opinion.

@@hudsonhawk90 you have to have graduated from High school to have a PhD in psychology like I do, you bumbling idiot!! Go do the world a favor and go play in traffic!!
Consume consume consume... positive all carriers do the same
If you're flying domestically, just mail a large flat rate box to your final destination. The post office will hold it for you for a couple days before returning it back to your ship from address. Same applies with UPS for larger packages ( large walmart box is the ideal ups package)
Corporate criminals!
Yup. They got me with this and now it all makes sense.
Lol I thought he was gonna say that if you want dispute charges that you would have to pay a fee to dispute lol
“We treat everyone equally…… like shit”
Blame them and shame them.
The problem is people don't want to read. There are literally no hidden fees. The website clearly states each fee. You get what you pay for.
Yeah they are holding up planes in Denver this happened to my girlfriend and she spent an extra hour waiting.
Si yo tuve que pagar 100 dolares por una 🎒, por media pulgada más de lo q hera es la peor áreolinia , y el vuelo se regreso a Filadelfia y tuve que esperar 2 horas y 45 minutos y terminar pagando 250 dolares más
I had a woman almost not let me on a plane because I had a bag I was holding for my son. Treated me like shit and almost tried charging me an additional $85!!! I reported her then magically they let me on
Thats the airline VASELINE.,always a catch.
another example of consumers not knowing what they're buying and blaming others. these airlines are pretty clear about the fees for things like baggage. how about you people start taking some responsibility for your own decisions?
My suitcase fit in the box, a disappointed gate worker saw my tripod, I paid $100. I propose a class action lawsuit.
that stinks of a scam some loop hole in the passengers rights clauses
Southwest adds the cost of. Gas into their tickets, so it’s not really free
How is Frontier still in business
I hate frontier. They seem to only target a few poeple per flight. I just don't get it why some people are asked to check their bag size while others walk right on. Seats are smaller, no wifi, no free drinks or snacks besides water. Frontier is the worst.
This is the way it is in Mexico.
Southwest for the win.
I will never fly frontier again. They have horrible customer service on top of the deceptive practices. Fly southwest.
What!? True!? That drives them to force person who bags do meet requirements
Southwest charges for luggage, a 50 $ flight turns into 100$ easily, that was pre COVID, that was Stockton to Vegas, who knows what it is now!
southwest doesn't charge for the first two checked bags as long as they aren't oversized/overweight.
@joegonzalez1941 southwest doesn’t charge for the first 2 bags
Start bribing them $20 to let you on
I stopped flying American because they were doing the same thing. I was flying with my family of 5 we had 2 pieces of luggage to carry on and they charged us to check it at the gate. They were very persistent about checking the kids luggage as well asking where it was, but we already checked in their at ticketing, they were looking to get commission. I think American stopped this practice, but again I haven't flown them since this indecent.
I knew it!
Frontier is doing bad charging for everything are somebody going to do something about that
Y’all knew better though
When you fly with junk you get junk, I would never fly with that crap airline
READ PEOPLE!!!!!! When you book, it tells you about the fees!
Gor hit with 100 dollars on a free flight i earned in points, they suck
Sounds like ryan air
Fly United and Delta then. Pay like you weigh and get free bags.
Two Words: Southwest Airlines
Name change is only if you are transferring a ticket to someone else. Change of spelling is free.
But wait... There's more...
Agent in fort Lauderdale are the WORST
Frontier sucks. Seems like Frontier worker is getting paid for charging customer at the gate.
I fly frontier all the time and never get charged anything extra. Been using the same backpack, the trick is PACK LESS ya'll. Not too difficult. Ive traveled for weeks with one backpack so many times. Or fly on another airline, more room for us
Discussed
I HATE Frontier Airlines…and this is just one of the many reasons why. I will NEVER again fly with them.
I dislike frontier so bad. Never
I don't understand what the griping is about. They are clearly notifying you when you make the reservations about the extra cost of baggage. In fact when you first say you don't want baggage they remind you again are you sure because it will cost you. This is not a story that is worth anyone's time. If you pay attention to what you're doing. I travel frontier all the time and I'm willing to pay for a seat but not a bag. So I specifically bought a bag that fits under the seat with the 14 by 18 by 8 measurement.
Did you know that if you don't pick a seat, they will assign one to you for FREE.
@@creamcheesewonton420 I pick a seat for long trips. Because I don't like to be stuck in the middle. In fact I picked the exit road cuz it usually only cost about $15 more than picking another type of seat that way I have space.
No to Frontier
I've been flying frontier for a while. I don't pick my seats and I don't say I have baggage. I've only been pinged once and it was my fault because I asked a question. Just show up and walk on they really don't care as much as you would think
Used to be that way. We never paid for a seats. We usually only checked one bag. Personal items were fine under the seat, not a problem and they never checked size. Our trip on the 25th of February, they checked all personal items for everyone. Because of our return trip, I won't be flying Frontier anymore. They charge you $25 to print a boarding pass?? Unfortunately their website was not working so I could not access boarding passes on my phone. So we ended up flying the next day on American because we missed our flight.
Thieves!!
the problem is that this is all on their website. it's their fault they didn't read 😂
It's on their website that employees can arbitrarily force people whose bags are within the size limits to pay the fee or risk being denied boarding so that the employees can make a commission? I swear, people like you who defend this kind of corruption while laughing about it is what is wrong with society. Go live in the woods away from people.
@@nathaniel1670 the commission is an incentive to enforced the rules dumbass. i get a commission when i sell a membership. and its in their tos, you're the one who doesn't read. you're the one who needs to be isolated from society lol
Hello people, Frontier is just the brand name.
Spirit has ALWAYS been the actual company running the airline
You should do research before commenting.
@@fx540 it is true!! Frontier is run by the man who ran Spirit. He brought his garbage polices over to Frontier and ruined them.
@@fx540 , I was a F9 employee for 9 1/2 yrs, I was there when F9 was #1 airline in Colorado n saw the demise of this company. So u need to bite yer tongue.
@@lisabandt3542, exactly!! Frontier USE TO BE a great airline BEFORE Biffle took over. Now they are trash just like his former "airline" Spirit. I miss the old Frontier.
@@lisabandt3542 First off, I don't have to bite my tongue lol. Spirit and Frontier aren't together hence the research comment. The other reply in this thread is correct, Biffle took over and he used to work for them. Frontier tried to acquire Spirit last year but JetBlue outbid them. Nine years working there doesn't make you an expert because you didn't even know this.
I'm sitting on a Frontier plane RIGHT NOW and I'm PISSED!! I prepaid $65 to check in one luggage the night before. I tried to pay the extra $10 so I can check in up to 50lbs but the app wouldn't let me. Now I know why. The agent weighed my luggage and it weighed 52lbs. I figured she might charge me a little more. She wanted me to pay an extra $100 on top of the$65 I already paid for that luggage. WTF!! SO I paid $165 to check in ONE LUGGAGE! Bitch gets a commission to do this. Going to Vegas in a bad mood now. I WILL NEVER FLY FRONTIER AGAIN! EVER! The tickets weren't cheap either so I have reason to complain
