@Louka Deschênes vanier idk maybe it's the full mask that helps since it makes them feel less human (though they very much are). Trickster while looking 100% human he dips into that uncanny valley enough and is sadistic so he feels right. The merchant just feels like they're trying to make her simpable (look at her walk animation). While her and trickster both do that he just generally feels creepier

@@_voltu3704, I used to think so too but I completely doubt that now. The only thing that can be considered similar is the mori and weapon. Besides, this would most likely have been a Prey chapter if true which if I have to add, doesn’t have a single drone in the movie

how can people dislike this, the atmosphere and this new killer are so cool, I'd even watch a whole movie about that badass babe skull merchant.
Because its a bootleg Predator, Her Mori is as Uninspired as you can be, Her powers are like Knights Powers But less Unique, Her design isint pariticularly interesting and shes more hot than scary.

DBD has released horrifically bad killers in the past, I don’t see how this one is somehow astonishing and SO upsetting.

Skull merchant. Make her a insane serial bounty hunter who hunts humans as game. The drone design is cool but doesnt match her diamond studded mask. Give her like an ex military background. Dress her up in more camo gear

It’s good but she doesn’t even seem intimidating. Even legion is more scary and they are just a bunch of teens wearing a mask
I kinda find legion terrifying… just the idea of a small shank being plunged into me again and again and again is more terrifying and visceral than some magical being.
I honestly don’t get how so many people disapprove of a new theme, many of the a-creditable criticisms are all about how it doesn’t fit the narrative of DBD. Though the narrative of DBD is still there, she may not have the extraterrestrial theme of a demonic creature that crept from the depths of hell, but she has a very “human hunt” theme that I believe fits very much into the realm. Maybe it is new and that’s why it’s hard to understand that a killer is themed around a overly-surveillance system and human hunting idea, but if it has that title, it holds it well.

@@Gelimer32002it's not the fact that it's just a pig mask with hair that sells it, she comes from an iconic and loved horror movie series so they don't have to make her scary to be loved in design just match the series. However when they make an original killer one that only has the game to stand on people don't like it because the presentation is different, they need to put in more effort.

They have to make it look like where it came from it else everyone will hate it, with an original DbD killer they have the WORLDS limit of potential to play with and as you said they picked someone that looks like that but without the reasonings to why it's that way.
