I like the robotic vibe mixed with Brazilian samba type music, fits the killer well, shame she’s otherwise so uninspired. I can’t help but think about being chased by an actual robot to this music, could’ve been something really special.
It makes sense though. The chase music makes it seem more primal. Like the killer gave into instincts once the chase starts thus, relying less on tech in the chase, but it is much more aggressive.
This chase music is perfect... The only bad part is that it's scarier than the killer lol. I really hope they do a better design and mori for her, her power is so good, but the design nah.
This chase music isn’t bad like people make it out to be it sounds nothing like hags because hags is mediocre compared to this better drum sounds and combination of a beat listen with headphones and it gives adrenaline it’s like encountering a bucket drummer with speedy amazing beats and it feels like a powerful battle between 2 powerful monsters or demons

The skull merchant however is needlessly chaotic and cacophonic, i get they that wanted to go with an 80's style dark anime/Brazilian music for the chase, but they are way to loud and have to short of a melodic loop, making it just annoying. For someone like Hag it makes sense, but even hers has a longer loop. For the chase to be fine Imo they have to remove some percussion in it.

Even ignoring the criticism she should’ve been a robot, the fact that in the teaser she was portrayed as using human remains in her projects suggested that she was going to be far more scrappy as a mechanic as opposed to futuristic, her attire should’ve been more grungy looking instead of high-tech. Also that jewelled gas mask looks like a cosmetic, it completely clashes with the rest of the design, speaking of which in what world can she be considered scary? BHVR went out of their way to make her look attractive for some reason in a cheap attempt to make a serial killer “waifu bait”. So yeah, garbage design. even Skull merchant Power ""eyes in sky's"" is kind of not good and put this power in Nutshell. I really like the 2nd layer, it's like a survivor has activated a sensor and the alarms are going off in the distance
2nd layer to me sounds like a drill - like parts being put together like a machine. April is a genius composer.
I like how Layer 3 has sort of an alarm sound in the background, since it plays along well with the concept of drones spotting you.

my honest point of view When we all saw Skull merchant teaser trailer, we all thought is going be killer that was dead and has skull program be robotic skull killer but no we get this killer that completely look like it came out different game wind up in Dbd the killer doesn't look scary or disturbing the dredge took that cake of being horror and brought Dbd back as horror game. then the Knight chapter came it was kind of bad because knight power and skill base but then you get the skull merchant this actual very bad chapter and you thought The twins was this bad....
even Skull merchant Power ""eyes in sky's"" is kind of not good and put this power in Nutshell. It basically Trapper traps mix with Ghost face stalk power. aka ""Mini Ghost faces drones"" and tracking power on other hand seems very new but it useless at sometimes and you had keep switching back and forth between like doctor old power which thanks god Dbd fix doctor powers.
