Same here. I don’t know why I have this in me. Like you said I can knock out an entire container like a bag of chips 😳 Gotta keep them out of the house lol
You also have to take into account the amounts. Some people only want the one cookie, whether its due to dieting, self control, limiting for children, or any other reason. They're not going to want to buy the whole tray when they don't need the whole tray! 😊
Had the costco cookie recently and was pleasantly surprised. I must have gotten one freshly made because the center was gooey with melted chocolate chips, which I'm a fan of. The crunchy outside paired with the gooey middle was worth it imo. Probably best to eat it right when you get it
Yes, I know the box and food court ones definitely don’t taste the same! I feel like the boxed ones are lacking the caramelized flavor, butter would do it!
Fun fact. The food court cookies are actually baked in the bakery first then the food court just runs them through to heat them up Edit: some of you all are missing the point. The cookie dough balls for the food court come in frozen. They are baked in the bakery from frozen early in the morning, and then the food court comes and gets them before the store opens. The cookies are baked on sheet pans, and then the sheet pans are put on a rack to cool and then the rack is covered and brought to food court. When its time to make cookies to serve to customers, they just pop em in the pizza oven to warm them up
@@jordandrukqsz4026I agree, they taste completely different to me, both in flavor and texture! Unless an actual store employee can prove they are the same dough, I don’t believe they are the same!

The bakery ones. I was visiting a friend and she had 2 cases. We got high asf & i ate 4 of them cookies then took 8 cookies home w me on the plane and ate them all. Then she said i could have just taken the whole thing since she had another case. I was so sad lol. I need a membership just so i can get the cookies.
Just started watching more of your videos boss man. Really really appreciate your approach and simple videos. Keep being honest and not as dramatic as others, and I'll keep watching your videos
Sometimes you just want to eat $10 worth of cookies. If you want to crunch it up just pop it in the oven a few minutes. You can't make the food court one soft though if you don't want crunch.
What I used back when my family was poor was get those rolls of chips ahoy soft chocolate chip cookies and would heat them in a microwave for like 15 seconds. One of the best snacks I had as a kid.
The verdict based on the reactions surprised me! Love the videos. Please consider comparing g/$ vs $/g. I always have to reframe it in my head for a second every time!
The moment we've been waiting for! Love the bakery cookies. I always stick them, or any baked good for that matter, in the toaster oven for a bit and then let them cool. Nice and crispy edges that way 👌🏼

Can't blame him. His Costco stocks went from 300/share to over 700/share in 2 years. Probably gained a few millions.

Costco’s just a swell place imo

The food court is for grab and go purposes, while the bakery is for sitting around
