I have always believed it is not hard at all.
As he said it's drug addiction, mental health from past trauma childhood.
So first thing you fix is healing their past mental trauma. Easy.
      Faster EFT tapping.
After that is fixed then they can make positive steps to getting a job, house.

If you start saying "we" instead of "they" your observations and opinions might be considered more valid; it's just a long way of saying nobody needs to change and everything is fine the way it is until it becomes inconvenient for you.
Also "mental health care and addiction treatment is expensive" speaks to the cultural normalization of health care for profit industry, which affects everyone and puts many more demographics of people at risk than the ones that are *already* homeless.

That completely disregards the second point he made, mental health problems. I’ve been watching SWU for years. My ex was a heroin & fentanyl addict, I heard this quote once saying “Nothing will screw you up more than being associated with a drug addict. You can’t save them, but they can sure as hell destroy you - and they will”… being with someone (or a loved one) in active addiction is the most heart breaking thing and So difficult to come to terms with. I’m glad there are people like Mark who recognize societal issues like homelessness, drug addiction, & mental health AND connect the dots between all three. I believe one person can make a difference and he is shedding light on so many subjects people don’t feel comfortable talking about. His content does not fall on deaf ears, keep up the good work 🙏🏼

Been following Mark's channel for awhile now. The metaphor to Soft White Underbelly really proves things arent always what they seem, until you peel back the layers you see what's really going on underneath. I think Mark's mission is for us as people to see these layers, and understand the "junkie" or "mentally ill homeless person" you see on a daily basis has a life and a story behind the stuggle. Listening to the stories of so many broken people that have come thru his studio is eye opening. I encourage you to watch his videos and listen to the stories of these people, understand their struggle. Theres alot to learn and more than meets the eye. You can get involved and help with every person that comes thru that seat.
Imagine millions of us understanding the brokeness and black eyes of each other, showing empathy to each others struggles, and showing love and compassion to see change.

The challenge is not coming up with a solution that works for a small group of individuals, it's coming up with a solution that works for the majority of homeless people regardless of their individual circumstances. If the majority of people are lying about substance abuse, then you can't assume people are telling the truth when you're trying to help hundreds of thousands of people.

We knew if we lived in an apartment we could afford to give my kid all the things that will put her in a position to succeed. It will be up to her to use all this, but seeing how bad life can be, even for kids with every opportunity to succeed, I am glad I did what I did.
I forget how said it, or exactly how it goes, but a quote I like and live by is, "I don't know what world my children will find, but I will prepare them for it." I'm sure whoever originally came up with is said it better. Good luck everyone!
