I remember starting out in the ICU and getting vague information about what the RASS-CAM actually was from my preceptor. I took it upon myself to learn about it, how to assess, and how to chart it. I bypassed my preceptor and went to my educator to confirm. I’m not going to do something without knowing why.
I Love ya man!!! It's like you're in my head man! LOL Being proactive in your obtaining knowledge ....looking to outside resources, purchasing books to help in your learning and growing as a new nurse or nurse practitioner.....such a fantastic concept!!! Keep on keep keeping on gurl!! 😀
