@@user-hq7rd5hj7j Rehearsal. They will go through the physical emotions with their lines while the director watches. They will either be given direction as to how to act or react, or asked to improvise. They will do this 4-5 times before the first take, and there may be multiple takes before the final wrap for that scene. Just before this scene, Maddie and her Mother (Paula Vreeland) wrapped up a scene on the porch.
