Mafia: Definitive Edition is a 2020 action-adventure video game, developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games. A remake of the 2002 video game Mafia, it is the fourth main installment in the Mafia series. Set within the fictional city of Lost Heaven (based on Chicago) during the 1930s, the story follows the rise and fall of taxi driver-turned-mobster Tommy Angelo within the Salieri crime family. Alongside the story mode, players can also explore the city in an open world mode, which features side missions and the ability to find secrets at their own leisure. The remake brought with it several improvements to the original's story and gameplay, including a rebuilt setting, enhanced mission dynamics, and the introduction of motorcycles to the series. In addition, developers formed a brand new voice cast for the characters, and created an original score for the remake.

The combat in this game is god awful.
The perfect Mafia game would be one with the story and setting of Mafia 1. The immersion of Mafia 1. The combat of Mafia 2 and the The humour of Mafia 2
As for driving, Mafia 2 has the perfect weight of the car, it handles also as a 40s/50s car should, but a lot of noises and smaller details in Mafia 1R is better.
Also, something that sounds petty but really annoys me, is how fast you get in a vehicle in Mafia 1R, Tommy pretty much jumps in, Veto takes his time. Mafia 1 did it perfectly, just got in the vehicle like a normal person. That being said, the graphics for Mafia 1R truly are stunning, the Police AI improved a lot also in terms of driving
