I just want to brag here that I bought the CFX 35 for $360 "new" off of KSL. Works great, just some cosmetic damage from a drop on the front handle. "Game changer" is rightly overused with many overlanding accessories, but man, having a fridge on long road trips is amazing! Easily saved over $100 making lunch rather than eating out on my last couple of trips. Rightly so, the lid latch design is so frustrating!

“Ice is for peasants” is the mantra for some… but as a professional river guide doing 3-5 day trips all summer on the Colorado and Green rivers I just don’t get the need for $1500 to $2k coolers and battery setups… so yes… I think your overlander build can skip an electric cooler…
