Music video by Live performing Turn My Head. (C) Radioactive Records J.V.

Definitely one of the forgotten gems of the 90's, an underrated masterpiece, both the video and the song.
This whole album is amazing. Nobody seems to recognize it, all the focus is on Throwing Copper, but while Samadhi is definitely darker, it is just as good as Throwing Copper. Live were more than a one album band.
Not a band I ever hear spoken about for some reason, like ever. Much more obscure bands get talked about pretty often, but nobody brings them up, which is odd since they stuck around for a really long time and had more than a few hits.
@@christofyre LIVE was my favorite band growing up. I think the first 4 albums were each a self-contained masterpiece with a different vibe but with the same underlying band's sound.
@@jamesstaggs4160 Indeed. I listen to the satellite radio 90s and 90s rock channels and they rarely play LIVE. And every song they do is from Throwing Copper. I remember how huge these guys were. It's really strange how we look back on their heyday now.
Underestimated by who???
Whenever I see music videos from the 90's all I can say is: "what the hell has happened to music recently"??
It's upsetting how this incredible video has hardly any views. It's too overlooked. But at least there are a few people who realize its greatness.
3:02 is my favorite shot.
This is one of those perfect songs, that just..."feels like the nineties". If that makes sense.
Live is such a great but underestimated band.
Throwing Copper was a masterpiece and we had to try and do one song from it. Hope you will enjoy our take on it :

Man, this is the first time in many years that I have heard this song... So many memories since 1997... The past loves, the failed loves, all of the unrequited loves.... Even recently this year.... Everything is hitting me hard right now... I guess you can say that... I can feel it coming back again.... 😕
K. Scott Zeno 1997 was a year for the ages
A love who passed away; forever young.
If feel you man!
1997 was the year.
one of the best bands in the 90s
1997, I was 13 and this song would take me out of this world. It still does.
I get it. I was 14, turning 15, in 1997.
Because of this video, I was turned onto the work of John Register. It helped focus and redefine my own photographic work. I am so very happy that a song I love introduced me to a great artist who inspires me.
i played this song nonstop the year it came out love it 20 yrs later still
I am more into the harder rock, But this has to be one of the most beautiful songs ever writen.
I literally got emotional and started crying while listening to this in my work truck today. Everything just hit me at once and I guess this song helped release whatever needed to come out. As a disclaimer, I'm not an ordinarily emotional person
Brings me back to my youth. Why don't artists make songs like this anymore? Powerful and evocative!
One of the most beautiful songs ever!! Simply enchanting!
I remember seeing this music video on MTV during its original run. Heck, I think that I probably have it recorded on an old vhs tape somewhere. I remember seeing the visuals and hearing the song and feeling inexplicable feelings of loneliness and longing, but, like, in a good way... it's hard to describe. Anyhow, beautiful song, and beautiful video.
When mtv was about the music.
@@MerlinOpeth Inspired by the paintings of John Register.
Esto no se escucha con los oidos si no con el Alma
Anyone, caught in your mystery
Keep it angry
Keep it whispy
I've fallen down
Drunk on your juices
Turn my head
Turn my head
It's aimed at you
Funky temple
Your dress is torn to shreds
Your eyes are crazy
I bowed to save my head and
I can't forget you
But I can't remember
Oh no
Turn my head
Turn my head
It's aimed at you
Baby, baby
We came to love you all day
These bastards are leavin'
Somebody's got to stay
Whatever we called you
It's just a name
Just a name
This has to be one of the best photography works on the history of music videos
Yessss man
This is the song that pulls on anyone's heartstrings, & draws tears from the eye's!
Even though the band hated this video and so they reshot it, this is one of my favorite videos of them.
Chris Munson movimiento n
They reshot it for legal reasons, they didn't hate it.
What was the legal reason?
@@MrPancakeMan yes, I saw that at the beginning of the video, but I wasn't sure if it was relevant why the video was redone.
This was the only video I remember seeing on MTV back in the day. I didn't know about the reshoot till I looked this up...interesting.
The best song forever and ever!!!!!!!!😭❤❤❤❤
I miss my 90's
It all seemed a lot simpler back then
After all these years, this masterpiece still gives me goosebumps.
Such an underrated band.
Just a great song and video all around. A lot of bands today cannot touch Live's artistic integrity.
Today's bands can't touch any of those from the 90's to mid 2000's, up until about 2007, let alone Live. This album came out the year I graduated from high school and it still resonates today like it did then.
Hello, '90s, how I miss you!
I can see a lot of inspiration from Edward Hopper's paintings here!
Explicitly the visuals here are inspired by the paintings of John Register, but John Register is clearly inspired by Edward Hopper! :)
Saw these guys in concert a couple months ago. Nailed this and all of their other songs. Never missed a beat in the past 20 years.
OMFG You were Blessed!
I saw them live in Vancouver in a club in the early 90's
Have Not Replicated the Experience
@EDKowalczyk is a musical #GOD
When MTV still had music videos and good music.
My Live’s favorite song ever. This hits so hard! I was lucky to see Ed in 2010 in a concert here in Lima, remembering the glorious 90s
To me, this is one of the best songs ever written, and THE best music video ever made.
Me llegan al alma estas hermosas melodías que hoy en día son difíciles de encontrar..... Anhelo mis tiempos pasados, si pudiers devolver el tiempo , el rock nunca será una moda, el rock es leyenda , y las leyendas nunca mueren .... 😢😢😢
coming back to my mind emotions and sensations when I heard for first time this masterpiece
I can loop that guitar intro a thousand times in a day and still call it a great day.
This should of been the official one. Amazing lads
This song brought back some memories from Juneau, Ak 1997😞😞😞
There is no band like live. There is no band that touches the depths of my soul like live. I love this band to the ends of all time. Got me thru lots of hard times❤️❤️❤️🤘👍👊
Absolutely. I was fortunate enough to win tickets to a limited seating acoustic set with Ed and i got to meet him and tel him how much this song meant to me. 😎👍
@@garydevoid9323 nice, but you gotta tell us his reaction/response! I always got a good vibe from Ed, despite never meeting him.
I´m know and love this sing since the 90´s and I had never seen this version before.Very, very impressive. Quite simple and at same time...quite amazing...seems even paintings that move. I loved it!
disfrute de una época donde se cantaba y componía con el alma
un arte en fotografia
Una obra de arte
en buena hora ya somos dos
Somos tres. Son de esas canciones que te hacen estremecer.. el alma..
Que bueno Alejandra
I LOVE this song and video. Great!
Secret Samadhi is perfect! I was 12 when it was released and it's my fav since then. ❤❤❤❤
the most beautiful music video for this song, just perfect. (MTV south America)
Never knew andre agassi sang. :)
I never knew Ed played tennis
+robertk2007 Sampras wrote this song for Vince Mcmahon btw
Haha!

Esta es mi droga...que extasis
So great..So many memories. Goosebumps
2022 I always keep coming back to this song.....Mick 2003 💔😢
Boredom & excruciating solitude..ahhhhh, life on the road (that's my interpretation of this version). I saw these guys at the Murat Temple in Indy (Don't remember the year...early 2000's?). A small venue, close..intimate...like a warm shower on a cold day!. Ed had bronchitis, but he barreled through the set like the professional that he is. I felt bad for him, coughing up phlegm during and between songs, but that beautiful voice still shined through. A truly wonderful concert!
So beautiful! LOVE... they just get better with time.
Kevin Scot Williams I loved you then , I love you now , no matter what we went through I’ll love you forever ! You have all my love 💔 R.I.P. 😢
at one time or another I've caught myself doing the things the guys are doing when I'm alone and bored somewhere that's why I always liked this version best
Dedicated to my EX... I can't forget you but I can't REMEMBER!!!
This is what I call art!
This song rocks, and the video is aesthetically perfect!
I play this at open mic nights. Loved this song thr minute I heard it when it first came out.
Im biggest LIVE fan ever! Im from Brazil!
Dios, musica que nunca pasará de moda , el Rock no es una moda, es un estilo de vida ..... 😢😢😢😢
My favorite song of All times
I can't be the only one thinking this is far better than the original video for this song.
Far superior
One of my favourites ...
yeah, this version, beyond beautiful song and vid, chills
Gorgeously filmed video, even better than the paintings which inspired it. Hats off to the director, Jake Scott, and to Live for this fantastic song.
Joe Scott sent me and to him I say, I agree, this is beautiful. The song ain't bad either.
I found this because of Joe Scott also. Midlake also
Never heard this song or seen this video. Absolutely beautiful.
Always had my head on a swivel 😂❤
my favorite song all times we needs again rock bands in 2019
fave Live song ever. Thanks
can you pls explain how this piece of art has only 54000 views?? Ed K visited Lima Peru last week and this was the most requested song, long life LIVE and the 90's!!
Absolutely beautiful song.
This music video need to be in 4K Remaster!~
Cant forget, but cant remember
Para los entendimos en cinematografía esto es una joya. Cada vez q vi este video es.un regalo en la composición de una toma, la iluminación (luz y sombra), montaje. Alguien mas se fijo en esos detalles aparte de la buena canción que es?.
I love both this song and the paintings of John Register, so this is a wonderful marriage for me.
such a beautiful song....
I WISH I CAN TURN THE HANDS OF TIME..I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL IT WAS THE BEST TIME I HAD IN MY LIFE...SECAUCUS REPRESENT !!!!!!!!
love it!!!!!!!!!!!! always
Excelente !!!! Te transporta
Hermosa canción
great band
Waiting rooms are the variety that we as a society do some of our best thinking about the past, present, and future. Caught between what might've been, what is, and what might be.
muy buena canción...

Perfect
Nice song
This is one of my favorite videos. Ever.
A lot of the stuff I shoot is similar to this style of contrast and emotion. I love this.
Me encanta
🎶excelente banda🎶
The connection to John Register's artwork made the song even more original.
Beautiful video, inspired by Edward Hopper paintings.
Close, but it’s John register
classic and original live...
