Eman. Thank you so much for the video, I was smiling all the way through while watching it. The last time I had these was about 25 years ago. my Egyptian grandma used to make them. I didn't get the chance to get the recipe before she passed away 😁 I will definitely be making these for my kids. xx
Always a joy watching your videos! In the Mediterranean we have a similar version, just with a different syrup (a combination of water, honey, lemon and cinnamon).
This looks like a delicious treat. I am sure that is very delicious with coffee. Who could resist fried dough??? You have two very handsome sons. Long life, happiness and success to you and all your family. Peace.
رمضان موبرك!!! I definitely have to try dispensing the dough through a bag. Every time I try to do it with my hand they come out in very interesting shapes. I have to do half of the batch before they start looking right
Thank you very much for the recipes. Wish you had more videos. The cloth you are wearing is so beautiful as well. where do you buy it? It's gorgeous!!!

Thank you Eman. Long time i'm search for the easiest and fastest recipe of "ghemot ", like this we call in AL Ahssa, and I founded with you. Today I well try it, and I am sure it's well be delicious.
I am a Russian woman, my husband Saudi, your channel help me so much to learn how to cook Saudi dishes, thank you so much. Good look, and waiting a new recipes.
Eman you are simply delightful but even more important you are a wonderful educator! I thank you for this recipe especially this one. Since my family and I left Saudi (about 7 years ago) we have all missed lugimat at Fatoor. It is a dish that I relied on my beautiful sister in law to make, because she set the bar so high I figured 'why even try'. Now, it's been 7 years and we make a lot of our beloved Ramadan dishes but I knew it was time to try. I set out with this mission....to find a recipe that was clear and detailed techniques, turned out plus tasted like home at my in laws house during Ramadan. So, I found three recipes and prepared them all last night in my make shift kitchen....Alhamdallah! Your recipe was hands down the best. My family was so impressed with finally having lugimat for Fatoor because, it reminded them of their childhoods. Eman I pray you and your beautiful family a blessed Ramadan and may your nights be filled with all that is special and sacred this time of year...Ramadan Mubarak!!! Big Hug and prayers to you...Kim
I am so !thrilled to have discovered your channel, Eman! For 11 years we, along with a number of families in the "University City" neighborhood of Philadelpha, participated in intensive academic English programs of the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University by providing students with a "homestay" experience to augment their academic experience, anywhere from a semester to a year (or more). Many of our students were from the Gulf-- Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, etc. They would describe their food (which they missed!) to me, but I had a hard time figuring out the nature of the actual cuisine from their descriptions (ours was a "guy" house, ha!ha!). I am an excellent cook, but I could see how they missed their Mom's "home cookin' "....
