Probably 🤣 We were wearing rode mics but they were feeding into the FX6 that was recording this video and I was just demoing how he would do it. Good catch! I’ll pin this comment just in case 😀
How cool to find your channel! I'm trying to do the same with my Sony ZVe10 but I'm not able to make an adjustment to keep focus on two people at the same time. Can you suggest a tip like you did? Thanks!!
I’d suggest either using a larger aperture (EG: F4 instead of F2) or keeping both subjects the same distance from the camera. For example, if the person on the left side is exactly 1 metre from the camera, then make sure the person on the right side of the frame is also one metre away, then they should both be in focus
hey i see this has been asked, but i keep reading that this cam is no good for over an hour records due to overheat. i was reccomended the FX3 since it has built in fans, but is way pricier! any recs or advice on this? I know there is a zve-10 mark ii as well now
He’s shot quite a few podcasts now and hasn’t had any overheating issues. The room doesn’t have aircon either but it is winter in Australia right now 😀
We are shooting at F1.4 for maximum background blur as that’s what the client wanted. It would be safer to shoot at like F2.8 or F4 because then there’s more stuff in focus so you have less chance of one of the guests being out of focus. We probably did go a bit too bokeh-licious here
Honestly I don't own the ZVE10, I was just setting it up for my friends studio. I feel like the runtime would be limited by so many factors including ambient temperature and I've never personally tested the runtime so I can't answer that.
Is it me or did he plug the rode wireless mic in the camera's headphone out?
Probably 🤣

This is what all the informative UA-cam videos must be like. Very Natural and Helpful Video. 🙌
Wow. This was so helpful! THANK YOU 🥲
Awesome video! Can the zv e10 record 1.5 hour podcast continuously without stop recording?
yes up to 2 hours
I actually don’t know as I don’t own one and only ever used it this one time for setting it up for my friends podcast :)
That’s the best video!
The new Sony setup looks heaps better. Nice work boys!
Thanks man,
Yea I’m lucky Ben set the bar so low with the original setup 😂

i considered to buy this camrea too
That's awesome! The image quality is great with the ZV-E10
Does it overheat at all? I'm looking to get the same one

Wow, love this
Thanks big time! Really appreciate it 🔥
Love the camera, how do you get the background to not be blurred out so much?
I think they used a wider apeture on the lens

Amazing clip
Heating issue ? If 1 hr recording??
That was killer 👌🏻🔥
Thanks, really appreciate it 🙂
Does zv e10 has video recording limit & heating issue for long podcast recording??
how can u record at 4k? recording on the cam or with a video interface?
The camera itself is recording at 4K. There is no video interface on this particular setup as it’s optimising for low cost and easy setup
You said if its plugged in it can go for 2 hours straight, but isn't the ZVE10 supposed to be able to go for 13 hours straight in 4K?

Amazing thx
